Funnily enough, I was playing around with a quickhammer gambit that I didn't tell Bert about, but he followed through with through sheer random chance, essentially. It didn't surprise me that Ber didn't die the next day. but it DID surprise me that we mostly weren't questioned or attacked for that move.
