That's a really stupid idea. Why would somebody go through with it? If we lynch town, and they disagree with who the consensus thinks is scum (and chances are they do if they got lynched in the first place), they'll venge whoever they damn well please.

Right now I've decided on Duppin and Postie as my biggest scum reads. When I saw duppin ask that someone ask him something, I wanted to ask the same question. Town are generally more likely to give a simple no answer while scum tend to deflect the question in some way or not answer. I've just been having bad feelings about Postie, similar to those Postie has for me, but not in an omgus sense.

This is actually not me trying to defend myself, but I'd really like to know why you believe this to be the case.

Of course a scum like you would doubt my logic. To me logically and psychologically speaking it just makes sense. Obviously never a 100% gaurantee thing, but then again, nothing ever in this game.

Not yet, but as town he always townslips all over the place and I think that's something he'd have trouble replicating as scum, so I'm just sort-of hoping he'll obvtown himself in that way as the game progresses.

NM hasn't been putting any effort in at all, hasn't given reasons for scumreading Postie (neither has Severa, their reasons are "because I said so," "trust me," and "that daykill." It's definitely possible that scum shot then to throw you off...if that's your only concrete reason for scumreading Postie, it's a bad one.) Anyway, when NM was asked for reasoning for voting Postie, he just copy/pasted a post Postie made without saying why it was scummy or anything. Since then, the extent of his case has been "kill Postie" and "get lynched."

Heuristically Alone's first indication of a scumread on Postie was

He was voting Duppin at that point, but had actual reasons for it. All posts about Postie between that and his vote on Postie were bad feeling/negative vibes kind of thing. In 493 he asked "did Postie just claim scum" after citing an interaction between Postie and Severa, and proceeded to vote Postie. It looked like he had been looking for a good reason to vote Postie and the wagon was picking up.

Acryon was suspicious of Postie for a while and voted when the wagon picked up, I don't actually have a problem with his vote.

Before I die, can someone explain to me where all these town reads on N_M and Severa even come from?

Last I checked, activities such as sarcastic, unhelpful posting and inability to progress the game, or disastrously unhelpful gambits that lead into complete town control that no one even bats an eye at aren't towny. I honestly wouldn't be too unsatisfied if it came as a result of some sort of total mind control, because I see no other way that the game could've degraded to a situation like this.

I was town reading Sev because even when I thought Postie was town, the death tunneling seemed too risky for scum--I read him as stubborn and convicted townie. Now I'm more convinced Sev is town, who goes out of their way to get their buddy lynched on day 1?
