Ok some stuff has happened lets see if I can come up with any reads.
In post 31, Charloux wrote:Anyway i think you are nitpicking, as if you are trying to start a vagon. VOTE: BNL
Why is that bad?
In post 44, BNL wrote:if I happened to miss RVS because I was sleeping, and especially if we are already past page one, I will force myself to get reads, however weak it is.
I'm buying this. Town motivation to get out of RVS.
I like 80 by davesaz

I don't like that texcat voted with no real reasoning.

Really big impact coming from a guy whose only posts are votes with shallow or no reasoning.
Seems a bit overly defensive considering Charloux hasn't done much either.

I'm having trouble working through charloux specifically saying the first scum to kill JR gets free pudding. Not a lynch. Quite possibly an off hand remark, but it gives me a feeling he knows something.
I agree with this criticism.

Better than an RVS vote.-

It's still too early for me to scum read anybody. Will do that once i check out everybody.

I'm assuming vagon = wagon? You at least think it's worthy of a vote.-

NAI = not alignment indicative
OMGUS = Oh my god you suck (for voting me)
WIFOM = Wine in front of me (when scum says something that you think they think you think they wouldn't say and on and on so you get stuck in a loop [princess bride reference])-

I'm not sure how I could explain this? No further questions came to mind. I said the answers were fine not that I was convinced Charloux is town. I moved my vote because I was questioning someone else. If you think there's something there why don't you ask the questions yourself?-

How so? After post 60 you quoted it and just said OK and moved your vote. I assumed that meant that you understood it was a joke. Kop is looking more into itafterthe explanation and hasn't commented much on anything else. I found it odd that this was worthy of a comment but not much else is.-

Multiple people in a group doesn't mean she has associatives lumping them all together (although in some cases she could). You're reading too much into the mason thing.
More than likely. I'd rather rule it out for her just in case. I'd also rather continue to have faith in her. I can do that by believing Rask didn't move up the list because it's a mason grouping. That's making a huge assumption that scummish = bottom, mind you. She could very well have most town at bottom, though I don't see how we'd three be grouped there in that case either. I can see the grouping as "if one of these are scum they all are", or "at least one of these are scum", or "possible masons". I can't see a reason to townread us based off our P1 interactions without having a fair idea of our individual personalities and mindsets.
I think I've only half skimmed a game ranger was in, but my understanding is that trying to understand the lists is a bit pointless and that if she wants to communicate something directly she will.-

Why?
She's a good player, but she could be scum. She certainly hasn't put up enough content for you to have a town read on her.
Ranger typically scum reads me as town. Yet, she has me at the top of her list this game. The last time she had me at or near the top of her D1 reads lists, she was scum:

Yeah the finished one. I've noticed you tend to say more than what's strictly necessary to make your point, if you know what I mean (I'll find an example). Scum may over explain in this way because they are worried about being caught. However I noticed it in that newbie as well and you were town there.-

In post 161, JaeReed wrote:To elaborate on the whole this is my first non-newbie comment, since it's separate from the next paragraph...
I wanted to clear up to Ranger if she thought we were masons. I, at least, am not. The other 2 reasons is that she scumreads us or has us in some kind of "there's scum somewhere in this" grouping. I won't bother to ask her to elaborate because I don't think she will this early on based off what I've seen of her. I think she likes to hold off as long as possible and I'd rather give her time to work her magic if she's town. If she's scum it'll probably show in her reads eventually. Clearing up a possible misconception allows me to see if it changes what her reads are. If it doesn't, it means she's scumreading us which is fine for now.
I may be placing too much faith in her, but I believe she's too good of a player to scumread a townie all the way to the end of D1 so long as D1 lasts as long as it should. I get that I can be read as scummy, which would implicate Rask or Charl (really slim chance it's both of them). It's whatever for the moment since it's still early and I know she'll work it out. (No pressure though since I know people have bad games)
Like here, you're just saying a lot of stuff in order to explain what you are talking about when you probably didn't have to. If it's a playstyle thing that's fine, but if I had noticed you didn't do this in your other game or if you were scum in that game I would have called you on it.-

Whoops must have missed it. I just think vague statements like that don't mean anything. I want to know exactly where a read is coming from and why. If there had been other posts leading up to that it would have been fine, but there weren't any. As of 132 it's not really relevant though, he explained himself there.-

You don't think that's vague? I'm not going to let people hide behind statements like that because scum can easily post shit like that. Scum has a much harder time building genuine cases. I wanted to see quotes and examples which she eventually provided.-

I wasn't feeling the ranger case until now.In post 459, lane0168 wrote:The ONLY reason ranger would vote Charloux would be if she was doc, and she seems to be claiming it. There's no benefit in not claiming at this point for town ranger. If ranger is doctor then fine, that's what scum assumed, she was already a target. If she is a different PR then she will get killed anyway because scum thinks she is doctor. If she is VT then claiming gives basically no info away. Ranger explain why you won't claim if you don't agree with this logic.-
