At first glance I took this as kind of role-fishy, but at second glance I realized who was posting, and now feel it's probably NAI.In post 18, Vedith wrote:PP, are you a cop?
This however seems pretty anti-town. Why are you pushing this question to be answered? What was your motivation here, because there's no reason a cop should be outing themselves at that point. In post 24, LicketyQuickety wrote:
Why didn't you answer the question directed at you?In post 18, Vedith wrote:PP, are you a cop?
Why does it matter? How does that help you town/scumread them?In post 36, LicketyQuickety wrote:
yeah, but you can still answer no. That's what I am seeing. Not that they would actually say yes, but that they would say no.In post 35, SnarkySnowman wrote:It's a 1-shot Cop, right? It would make sense to claim the result after you use it, because then you'd be just a VT like the majority of players. Claiming before is a losing strategy.
This reasoning, while probably NAI, is awful. In post 57, LicketyQuickety wrote:
The joke between the two is way too over the top. There is nothing secretive about it. Also, PP made that comment without it being expected. Scum communicate a lot itt even if they aren't explicit about it. Its also incredibly silly. I don't expect that Mafia joke together that way. A lot of people might not consider this strong evidence, but I consider it all the same.In post 56, nn30 wrote:@Lickety - explain that logic please
This case doesn't make sense to me. How are 62 and 64 "trying too hard to please"? 62 is a vote and saying "I'm parking this here", and 64 is him questioning Gamma Emerald. Who is he trying to please?
74, while a friendly tone, is no different than how other people in this game have acted, yet you're not calling them out. 69 is the only thing I can see as being a bit too defensive. The rest of this case is garbage.
This post, too, seems super forced and awkward to me. I don't know, it could be me.In post 106, nn30 wrote:And I can town read you for taking away my town read for not questioning your town read on me.
*whew*
In all seriousness, the 'that's a start' was more of a 'great, what do you think of the actual post' than 'SWEET I'M GETTING TOWN READ.'
I can see how you interpreted this post the other way, though. My initial thought was just that - not to trust you throwing me a town-read. You just modded a game with me in it and could see that I tend to care about whether or not I'm getting town read and could use that against me in this game.
If there was a contest for vaguest reasoning, you've won it.In post 112, Cheesy wrote:So far Lickety looks like strong town, based on his tone and the sheer will to solve the game.
Why are you trusting his own self-meta and allowing it to enforce your townread of him? Anyone could say that about any aspect of their game. I could say: I don't use periods as scum. Are you going to auto-townread me? No. Because I could be full of shit.If he's truly so bad as scum as he indicates, I highly doubt he'd be taking initiative like this.
Yeah, this is a pretty good point. In post 113, LicketyQuickety wrote:In post 26, Cheesy wrote:
After you get your answer, could you tell me why you were so specific? I'm having trouble assessing your possible motivation. It seemed very out of the blue.In post 18, Vedith wrote:PP, are you a cop?In post 112, Cheesy wrote:So far Lickety looks like strong town, based on his tone and the sheer will to solve the game. Vedith's entrance also gave him few town points for starters because I don't imagine mafia being so bold and putting everybody's eyes on them right off the bat. That could of course be playstyle-related though.
I'll take a look at Realeo vs nn30 in a bit.
No, it's because you pushed Vedith as if he were scummy and then called him townie for the same thing. In post 119, Cheesy wrote:Lickety- in the meantime- I think it would work better it you told me what I did to set you off instead of just telling people to vote me because of what use is pressure when the target is not aware of the reasons? Is it because I said I townread Vedith before he answered me?2023 W/L | 1-0-

I now understand this misunderstanding.
Why? I've seen nothing either way from him at the time of this post.In post 169, Gamma Emerald wrote:culted is null town.
I think in #1 the question is more where do you see him trying to please anyone.
Also, why did you feel the need to spoiler your responses to him?
What? That's much less of him hedging and much more of him not understanding the reasoning behind it, and inquiring on that.In post 176, nn30 wrote:I'm in 6 games right now (I've made a huge mistake...) so I don't actually remember why I had a gut scum read on you Cheese, but I had one before this post.
After this post, the scum read has only intensified. The bold is a hedge that scum put into their interactions with town. You're trying to appear amicable here with the bolded sentence. It could come from either alignment, but IMO it's more likely to come from scum. Townies don't care if they piss somebody off by being intractable. Scum do. I picked up on this because I did similar things in my first scum game.In post 174, Cheesy wrote:I still don't see the problem with it. Perhaps you are reading too much into this?Or perhaps I'm blind.
VOTE: Cheesy
Why would that mean anything? It's his supposed scum game, not yours. In post 179, nn30 wrote: Check out my 97 from this game. I'm scum. I used the very same defense you're using right now.

This remark is rather unnecessary because his "badassery" is more of a character trait I think and it's not really alignment indicative. Unless you just want to argue with him, in which case please continue (after the game ends, in private). In post 190, LicketyQuickety wrote:

Which posts looked like reaction testing? In post 247, LicketyQuickety wrote:In post 136, culted wrote:Could also do cheesyIn post 137, Vedith wrote:Why TB and Cheesy for you?
Culted is Town for picking up on Cheesy being off. They are also a pretty good player. I saw some reaction testing by this slot.In post 196, The_Jester wrote:
Yes but if his character trait's being bold and he acts accordingly, this is not a discrepancy and you can't scumread him for that. Hence why I found your comment pointless. In post 193, LicketyQuickety wrote:
Character trait has EVERYTHING to do with what is AI for that slot, try again. In post 192, Cheesy wrote:

Well I guess we've now confirmed that LQ and Cheesy definitely can't be scum togetherIn post 253, LicketyQuickety wrote:In post 251, Cheesy wrote:Ok I know you tried to be mean and make yourself feel betterbut you've pretty much confirmed I'm town here.
