I think our masons should claim. That reduces the scum pool by two people. I like 3 out of 6 odds better than 3 out of 8.

If the masons don't claim today...and we mislynch...then scum could get lucky and hit a mason tonight and tomorrow the lone remaining mason would have no legs to stand on against a counter claim. I.e. I'm less inclined to believe a claim in LYLO.

Might help us with VCA as well. Speaking of VCA...these 3 players have been on both mislynches: Gameburger, jjh and MathBlade. I'd wager at least one of them is scum and I suspect them in that order.

I was going to open up with a vote on Sesq but since our room for error is next to nothing I think I'll do some ISO's on a few people before I vote.

As for my claim suggestion...if people don't agree with my opinion that's fine (especially the masons). But a differing opinion doesn't mean I'm wrong or scum.

My opinion is it would be better to focus on the unknown and take advantage of what we do know. If the remaining masons don't claim today...and the day ends in a mislynch (that isn't a mason) then tomorrow is LYLO. Scum's odds of hitting a mason would be 40% tonight if I'm mislynched today and 50% if I survive (since I probably wouldn't be advocating a claim if I WAS a mason). So a good chance a lone mason will be going into LYLO. Against 3 remaining mafia town would be even more screwed than they are at the moment and any claim in LYLO would be met with immense speculation. Basically in LYLO it almost wouldn't matter if the mason claimed or not because his claim would be basically worthless. But perhaps my opinion is in a vast minority so meh.

As for VCAs...I did not do a VCA MathBlade...I was saying if we knew who the masons were it would help with VCAs. My observation on the votes so far was just a blunt statement of fact that of the 3 players on both mislynches I would wager there is at least one scum. So if you are amongst those 3 and town....that you have 50/50 odds of hitting scum amongst the other two.

In the last ten games I have played in which there have been mislynches D1 and D2...80% have had at least one scum supporting both mislynches. Oddly enough the two games that didn't have at least one scum on both mislynches were a game MathBlade modded and a game MathBlade was scum in. All the others had at least one scum who had supported both mislynches. So I'm pretty comfortable with my suspicions of those three players (GameNBurger, jjh and up to this point much less so...Transcend/MathBlade).

I didn't suggest the masons claim in this game until D3. In a game where town has been off the mark...we are down a mason already...and we are one mislynch away from LYLO. We have one mislynch to spare before our safety net is gone. Trying to shrink our pool of suspects to help zero in on scum is not a bad idea at this point of the game.

If today's lynch ends up being a mislynch (ex. me) I expect scum will hit a mason tonight and then the last remaining mason will have no legs to stand on tomorrow. The last mason claiming tomorrow would be much more weakened in LYLO because of counter claim possibilities.

If any town disagree with that opinion that's fine. But my being of that opinion does not make me scum. Which I am not.

So based on Connor's voting patterns I think it's safe to say Game, Transcend/Math, and bombcat are not masons. He could have been distancing but to support all of those 3 players to L-3 seems committed. Likewise wave, Transcend/Math and Sesq all supported a Connor wagon up to L-2.

So sure...there could be some distancing between partners but I like to think it's more likely they are linked.

Which means wave, Math and Sesq; and to a lesser degree bombcat and Game, are unlikely to be masons. Which means they are more likely to be scum.

So not feeling and Egg, flubber and jjh lynch atm. Probably one or both masons in that group.

So one of Game and Math have a very good chance at being scum based on both being on the D1 and D2 mislynches (based on my limited sample of ten games starting off with 2 mislynches having at least 1 scum player supporting both mislynches 80% of the time).

@Egg...Why is there a decent chance I am scum? Why are you scum reading me? For having a different opinion about the masons on D3? D1 or 2...sure. Day before LYLO my opinion is what it is right or wrong. And if anyone thinks I am scum for thinking so they are mistaken.

As for wtf is post 1727...it's me giving my view on the game. I can be just as right or wrong about who the masons are as I am about who the scum are. I'm working with a pool of 8 people to find 3 scum. Scum are working with a pool of 5 people (because they sure as hell aren't going to suspect me and I haven't claimed mason despite being at L-1...twice now). Maybe they get it wrong tonight and the masons decide to do what I suggested and claim tomorrow. Who knows. That's their call. But I'm trying to narrow down my scum pool by using a little townread poe. At least that gives me a 50/50 chance of hitting scum if I am right.

If the town on my wagon genuinely think I am scum so be it. But if town are on my wagon because they're annoyed that I'm trying to figure out the masons to reduce my scum pool...they should unvote me becuase a policy mislynch is still worse than having a shot a hitting scum today.

When I see the suspicions Math has brought towards me (and now wave) it looks like he is just throwing shit out there at everyone and hoping something will stick. His recent push that I must be scum because I used a qualify (probably) I never used...then to divert that misrep/mistake/fatigue-induced oversight to wave when it doesn't even apply to him in the first place.

I do not see town making suspicions up. I think more often than not if town goes to the trouble to build a case on someone they suspect they are more attentive to what they are pushing. Math hasn't done that.

@Egg...I don't think I was under the radar any more than usual for me. I am generally one of the less frequent posters in the early stages of the game and then pick things up as my confidence in my suspicions builds...and as other people produce more data to consider.

And who (regardless of alignment) ever likes suspicions towards them? At least for those I think are more likely to be town I am resigned to deal with it (i.e. you and jjh). But I am not automatically scumreading everyone who suspects/votes me. Though jjh saying I am town but deciding to vote me, unvote, vote me is very annoying.

The town benefit for my mason spec has been explained. It's to narrow the scum pool down. As I've said before...if anyone thinks I would bring mason related suspicions towards myself as scum they are sadly mistaken. But I would be standing on my soapbox trying to get rid of someone who did if I was scum.

MathBlade's math is crap and he doesn't even know who he is voting. I'm at L-2. I'd prefer to not be lynched and if any town are on my wagon just because I got their panties twisted in a knot talking about masons then that's a shit reason to vote me.
