Open 309: Fire and Ice

This uses the Fire and Ice setup. Fire and Ice is comprised of the following roles: 2 Fire Mafia, 2 Ice Mafia, 1 Doctor, 7 Vanilla Townies. Should both teams of mafia target the same player for a night kill, the night kills will cancel each other out, resulting in a no kill.

Rules (shamelessly stolen from Netopalis)
1. No discussion of the game outside the thread will be allowed.
2. All votes outside of the vote tag should be bolded and in the following format Vote: Scumbag
3. Upon the majority of players voting for a particular player, a lynch will occur. If, at deadline, a majority has not been reached, no-lynch will occur.
4. When a lynch is reached, the game enters twilight until the thread is locked. During this time, the lynchee may continue to post.
5. Deadlines will be as follows: 2 weeks automatically at the start of the day with an optional 1 week extension based on the activity level and replacement status of the players. Night actions must be received within 48 hours of a day's end.
6. No discussion of ongoing games will be permitted.
7. Be respectful to other players.
8. At the discretion of the mod, modkills will be issued for the breakage of these rules depending on the intent and egregiousness of the error.
9. Failure to post within a 72 hour period will result in a prod. Failure to respond to a prod within 48 hours will result in replacement. After being prodded 3 times unless your activity has made up for it otherwise, you will be force replaced if you need a fourth prod.
10. Flavor is meaningless. No player will receive any flavor via PM.

You are a Fire Mafia Goon along with XXXXXX. You may use this quicktopic to communicate with them during the night only. Each night, one of you must PM me the name of a player you would like to kill. You win when town no longer has a majority of players and the Ice Mafia has been eliminated.

You are an Ice Mafia Goon along with XXXXXX. You may use this quicktopic to communicate with them during the night only. Each night, one of you must PM me the name of a player you would like to kill. You win when town no longer has a majority of players and the Fire Mafia has been eliminated.

You are a Doctor. Each night you may PM the name of a single player. That player will be immune to night kills for the duration of the night. You win when all members of both the Fire and Ice mafias have been eliminated.

You are a Vanilla Townie. You may not take any action during the night. You win when all members of both the Fire and Ice mafias have been eliminated.

A masquerade. Well not really a masquerade. It was an illegal gambling operation where everyone was required to wear masks. The two mafia groups that had collaborated to create the underground casino thought it was brilliant. Thier customers would feel that their identities were protected, and no one could point out just who was in charge of the place if the police ever came down on it. Brilliant. Or so they thought until a man with two layers of pantyhose on his head and a shotgun came to hold the place up.

"My name is Leonard Stubbs and I hate mafia!" He proclaimed, as he ordered everyone in the casino to their knees.

"This here is my shotgun 'Wonder Woman'. She also hates mafia! If you all will kindly point out who among you are mafioso, I will pop their skulls like a balloon and we can all get on with our night."

However, as no one actually knew who among them was the mafia, there came to be not a single person who did not have another person's pointing finger thrust in their face.

"...Let's do this then. You all decide amongst yourselves who is mafia. I will then blow said mafioso heads clean off. You have until sundown to reach a democratic decision."

A terrible situation to be sure. But there were those who saw opportunity in it. If this mad man could be convinced to kill the other mafia group in this joint venture, then a single mafia group would have control of all the city.

And so began a debate with many lives on the line.

Day 1 has begun!

The deadline for Day 1 is Sunday, June 5, 2011 at 3:27:43 PM CDT.
If no player is lynched by that time, a no lynch will occur.

With 12 players alive, it takes 7 votes to lynch.
