Okay so thoughts:

When Syryana and I were the scum team in the first version of this game, we took nothing. Our thoughts were that we didn't want to give anything to town that could end up catching us in the end. I was a bit surprised to see them take the two that they did, ie daytalk and rolecop, and thought it would end up hurting them, but it worked out in the end. I was also surprised to see a couple people say that they would take three of the roles offered and would love to hear people talk about why they would take things. For me, when I'm scum, I hate having a town that can catch me by something other than play. But people definitely have a different approach, and I always find that interesting.

I think that town mostly got hurt by lack of activity. I can certainly see why SoundsofMusic had that knee jerk reaction against TheGreatOne, as in if you expect the scum team to take nothing, then another role being outed sounds fake. But I also think the odds of a mafia member fake claiming roleblocker on day two to get someone else lynched is unlikely. In that instance, I think it would have been beneficial to town for SoundsofMusic to keep quiet about her disbelief over the claim and maybe track him that night in the case of an innocent flip. She could have verified that he wasn't a killer for her own peace of mind and not made it look like she was trying to save her partner to the rest of the town. Although when you're emotionally invested in a game, sometimes you do things on impulse. I will never understand why town would ever self-hammer though, and definitely don't understand it when you're a power role and it's days until deadline.

Mutleyddmc proves once again that no matter how unengaged he is early game, he has the ability to put the pieces together near the end. But sometimes it's just a little too late. Those who had roles used them really well though.

I think the scum team overall played really well. I think this was elleheathen's first time as scum, and I really don't want to go up against her as scum if this is how she starts out. When she fake claimed goon cop, I thought that all would be over for her, but even though I knew she was faking it, her confusion and claim came across really genuine.

So, congratulations scum team. I hope you all enjoyed the game, and thank you to all the replacements.
