Thanks for explaining! I read on the wiki or something that mastin said you should indicate how sure you are of your thoughts so that if you're nightkilled people won't mistake your scumlean on someone for a strong scumread, but I might take it too far. I do try to telegraph exactly how certain or uncertain I am at any given time but I think I take it too far sometimes because I've been accused of wishywashiness before. I think I'll develop confidence over time with more experience.
I think we all played well together but we were kind of all coasting a bit until you replaced in and told us to lynch Papi, or at least that's how I felt about my own play.
I agree that it's good to check every avenue when scumhunting. I've correctly townread wanderer three times now but she'll be scum eventually and then I'll have to not townread her by habit.
I'm glad we had a perfect townwin. It also would have been nice to play longer and get to know everyone more, though. Still it's nice to be able to finally tick the "be on the lynching wagon of a scum player" achievement in my 3rd game, and it wasn't for lack of voting in my previou games- Plotinus

I really like this setup and I don't think this is as townsided as people think it is. Scum just got the worst fucking luck imaginable this run.
I do think Plotinus' RPS idea for the elements would definitely make things more interesting and give the right boost to scum. In compensation for the SK being harder to kill he could just lose his BP.
Idk man. It's been ran twice and by D3 it was the same thing circle jerk with docs/tracker.No matter how high the stakes, sooner or later you're just gonna have to go with your gut.
And maybe, just maybe, that'll take you right where you were supposed to be.

So the scum then have a factional roleblock and a factional kill.
I guess you could even do it so that doctors block a roleblock of a certain element just like the kills. Debating wether this it too large a nerf though.
It would certainly destroy town's ability to coordinate doc protects.

Maybe a factional roleblock, that another player takes?
That way they still have free choice with which element to use and of cause the last living playet would be able to take both.

Maybe a 1-shot strong arm elemental shot

Maybe every goon also has elemental roleblock where they can block the docs element like the doc can protect scum's chosen element. That would stop a mass-claim where docs have to out what element they're going to use. And only 1 goon may roleblock per night, the one whose element gets chosen, just like the factional kill. Would that work?- Wanderer-nl

I think we should not lose sight of the mafia lynches / SK killing mafia. Without those elements of the equation, town can't just massclaim because scum can hunt docs and still have time to get to the tracker.
I'd lean toward removing the backup doc instead of adding mafia power. With a backup present and doc coordination (and no lying scum in the doc pool), the tracker gets 2 guaranteed safe nights. Take away the backup and it's only one guaranteed night.
I don't remember if this has been suggested already, but elemental bodyguard instead of elemental doc would reduce (not quite completely eliminate) the no-kill nights.
Another completely different idea would be to make the tracker an "elemental tracker". You track an element, not a player, and get back a result of all the players who used that element. This potentially gives the tracker 3 results (doc, mafia, SK) but could be as little as no result if nobody used that element. I don't know if this nerfs the tracker so badly to make it useless.Wanna play Minecraft with your ms friends? Check out the minecraft thread, or the channel on discord- TheReverend
