so setup is broken via follow the cop

suggestions, go

Just straight up removing the Doctors from scum seems like an okay solution to me

Or making the cop/seer macho.

I don't see how there's FtC in this setup at all. You rollin' on the rock?

I like Aneinen's idea better, making the Docs into Jailers. In addition to weakening the cop/seer it makes inter-scum interactions less shitty as protect targets are no longer confscum.

Issue with this is it gives scum more power when they REALLY don't need it.

could make the docs into roles specifically immune to crosskills but not vig kill

Thank the flying spaghetti monster that didn't lose the game for my team.

Good game everyone, I had fun! Sorry so many people are dissatisfied by this game. I think some people need to learn to take a step back before getting into tiffs and some people need to learn not to mope about the game state and try to actually be helpful. Hopefully that helps future game enjoyment.

It's a little more complicated than that.

The town vigilante hit town and then died N1.

At times Mafia and wolves did try to (or thought there was a chance they might) crosskill but missed and hit town instead always.

Some of that is due to luck. I would not be surprised if the setup is less town sided but from 1 sample size it's hard to argue the effect a vigilante has or how devastating a crosskill could be.

yeah, you're describing the nature of the beast that is the multiball game. town pretty much lives and dies on how the cross kills pan out. OR you have to be really conscientious about WHICH scum to lynch, which is always a tedious thing.
