Hello and welcome to my first game as a Mod on MafiaScum!

The following post contains the rule set for this game. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns (or just want to say hello), please hit me up with a PM! Also, see the Donner Party Setup.

I will also be using an Achievement Based system in which you can unlock things (like in *insert console here*). I got these from Sméagol, and will be keeping track of them in my Mod PT. Some of these will be released at Day's end, some at Game's end. This will make more sense once they get going.

Rules

General Gameplay and Etiquette:

1. Read these rules. By asking any questions that can be answered by reading these rules, I reserve the right to point and laugh while answering.

2. Play to win and have fun! I don't know why these are always mutually exclusive in rule setups. Just enjoy and don't be a jerk! Good luck!

3. You may not quote private information (either real or fabricated) of any kind. This includes information discussed in any private chats, neighbourhoods, PMs, etc. Paraphrasing (for role claims, etc.) is acceptable. If you are unsure, ask first.

4. There is to be no personal communication outside of the forum postings unless your role PM specifically allows it.

5. If you have a role with a Night action, your choices are due to me by the posted deadline. If I do not receive your choice via PM or via Post in your PT by the posted deadline you will forfeit your actions. A simple “No Action” PM or post makes it so I'm not worried you forgot to send me something.

6. As a general rule you should aim to post a few times every 24 hours, minimum, to keep the game moving. I know some of you like to lurk. Don't make a habit of it please. I will prod players after 48 hours of inactivity. If you do not respond to a prod after 24 hours, I will start searching for a replacement. If you are prodded 3 times within the game, I will prod you after each 24 hours of inactivity, with no grace periods, and replace as necessary.

7. No invisible, impossibly small, or encrypted text. I feel this is a given though.

8. Don't edit or delete posts, whether you can or not.

10. Basically, follow all Site Rules.

Voting, Deadlines, and Player Death:

1. This game will have public voting with 14 day deadlines until the start of day 3. From then there will be 10 day deadlines. If a majority is reached early, the hammer will fall and that person will be lynched. If there is no majority by deadline, the player with the most votes will be lynched. If there is a tie, the player who has held the lead for votes the longest will be lynched.

2. Night phases will last 48 hours throughout the game. All actions must be submitted to myself (Aristophanes) by this time.

3. Please submit votes as: VOTE: PlayerName or

Vote: PlayerName

 in the thread. Votes will NOT be counted if they are not Bolded or Vote Tagged! Obvious abbreviations or nicknames will be counted so long as they are unambiguous. They will also not count if they are spoilered. A spoilered vote is a joke vote in the eyes of this Mod.

4. Please submit vote revocations as 

Unvote: PlayerName

 or UNVOTE: . Unvotes are not necessary before changing votes.

5. There is no option to “no lynch” in this set up. If you vote “no lynch” it will be considered an unvote. If no votes are made, a random lynch will occur.

6. Once majority is reached, the game enters twilight until I post a death scene or lock the thread (obviously); all players including the one who was lynched may continue to post during twilight.

7. I cannot allow “Bah” posts in this setup as they have the unfortunate chance of revealing one's alignment. I cannot allow this information to get out if it is not to be revealed.

Mechanics/Miscellaneous:

1. This game will begin with Day 1.

2. All Night Actions will follow a standard NAR.

3. This is an open setup. All information on the roles in the game will be posted in the following post. Good luck fakeclaiming, chumps!

4. The moderator will never lie to you. All information you are disclosed is true. However, this post plus your role PM is all I will tell you, not counting clarification per request. As the setup is open, I feel no need to really say much else.

5. Cheating may ban you from future Mafia rounds. Don’t do it.

6. As is shown in the roles, there may not always be a flip with a death. If there isn’t one, check the setup again before asking (and even then I may just shake my head and point to the setup again.)

7. If you are going V/LA or suspect you will be unable to post, please let me know, either inthread by

Bolding it

or via PM. Both I and your fellow scummers will appreciate this courtesy.

Win condition:
You win when all other killers are dead and you control 50% of the town or nothing can prevent this from occurring.

Cannibal Serial Killer

One-shot Night-kill Immunity: The first night you are targeted for a night-kill (even if you're targetted more than once), you will not die. You are not notified that this has occurred.
One-shot Roleblocker Immunity: The first night you are targeted by the Roleblocker, the roleblock on you will fail. You are not notified that this has occurred.
Win condition:
You win when you are the last player alive or nothing can prevent this from occurring.

Cannibal Vigilante
