It occurs to me that maybe I should address this point specifically now that the game is over:

Why would scum claim at L-1 and out their partner instead of just outright bussing them in hope for towncred? Besides I'm pretty sure I would've gotten modkilled for this shit. But yeah that's prolly why mod has closed the thread and made it look like he intervened or whatever.

This would be bad moderation on my part, if it were possible to determine the truth of Cheesy's claim by whether he was modkilled or otherwise penalized for it.

I locked the thread while I consulted the listmod about whether,

Cheesy's claim had been true, it would have merited moderator action; because if so then I would have had to take the same action even though it was false. However, there is nothing in the sitewide rules or in my rules that explicitly forbids outing one's scumpartner, and in principle this could still be done by scum trying to to WIFOM or something, so it isn't inherently against wincon. Thus there was no cause for intervention.
