I have ZERO qualms about this being considered a Mafia-wolves draw.
Town did not play well.
The only reason they were still in it at the end was bc of the night2 double VT kill.

Town did not play well? We mislynched once, then we lynched scum and gamesolved.

Scum just shat on us with 2 town nightkill every night.

Was basically a mutual scum team

Yeah all 4 scum could've claimed d2 and we'd have same result because we wouldn't have been able to lynch any of them

When you knew the optimal play but were too scum read at the time to push it through

That means town is at LyLo for majority power.
Correct Lynching and then kills give us
7v3 and we're at LyLo cycle again.

If we No Lynch
10v4 and the town is at MyLo, we get a lynch correct and then two townies die

8v3 and we stay out of MyLo.


No lynch is optimal because it forces scum to kill either townies and we start seeing what pushes were good/bad/flawed/scummy
or
Scum go and kill each other and then we start pulling associative trying to see who is with who.

It's just that we went from an 8v4 to a 5v4 on the first day. Ridiculous. Especially when the 2 scum teams don't have exclusive win cons i.e. "You win when you have the majority
and there are no other killers
."

Then they'd be more inclined to kill each other because game won't end at 1v1 if they're both killers they'd have to go to night and kill each other for a real draw.

yeh it is good to have mod-incentives to not allow scum to coordinate and make wincons non-draw-able

make scum work against each other and want to keep town alive because town are their pawns to be used AGAINST each other

yee agree not a good mechanic, but tbh there wasn't really an alternative.

3 scum had to claim 1 VT slot, which was obviously TRG.
