Oversoul has been scum from minute one.

If I'm somehow wrong about A2, which I don't think is actually possible for the reasons I stated in #66, I think the most suspicious players would be Chick & Lesq, who are both trying to defend lurking as somehow not being scummy, and pushing me for asking an RQ. I think there is almost certainly at least one scum between the two.

Oversoul & LUV, who are you scumreads so far?

I don't really have any strong scumreads right now. For those who don't know me, as a player I typically tend to wait things out before coming to a conclusion. I like to think things through and then act. I was just parking my vote on LUV for the hell of it. I thought this game was going to be spam heavy, but it's just a lot of walls right now. Reminds me of the days of my youth. :death: I haven't had a chance to fully read the walls between you and A2.

That said, I would like to see something actually productive from Sesq.

I can kinda sorta see that. The timing is indeed strange. The level of buddyish is pretty low (just look at LUV's 51 if you want to see buddyish. I'm not very experienced with Mafia, but I cannot recall a single instance of seeing a townie respond to being scumread by buddying the scumreader, I've always seen them either attack or defend. It's always been scum who've I've seen trying to buddy their scumreaders. My only hesitation in being more certain is that the "push" by LUV was super soft, so I dunno if I would say for certain that it's not just flippant banter by Oversoul.

I must not be making myself clear because this is the second post that someone has completely misconstrued. My comment was more sarcasm at LUV because I consider his push weak and bad. I thought it was because of the RVS stage, but LUV has been continuously pushing it for pretty weak reasons. Plus I think he is ignoring this game which doesn't sit well with me.

I'm on vacation right now, but I'll have more tomorrow.

I haven't really seen LUV do a real push at this point, so of course it's going to be weak and bad. I don't even specificly remember reasons that he gave them.

The way I'm approaching this game is to give a little bit, see how the game plays out, then give a little bit more, then see how the game plays out some more. I'm basicly trying out a reactive playstyle, which is easy to do in a 6 player micro. This isn't going to get me to stop lurking imo. I was waiting for LUV to give me something and he did.

They want to seem like they're scumhunting and pressuring people, but really they aren't. Like with their Sesq interactions, Sesq was actually way more productive in those then Oversoul was. He's basicly doing nothing to really advance the gamestate.

A lot of their tone sounds really faked. Not to mention I see this scumhunting attempts which seem really delayed and unnatural to me. Like, it seems like they aren't really interested in scumhunting tbh.

I didn't think you were acting scummy, but I can see that your vote is not just a general "lols" vote.
I feel like if you truly felt these things you would be putting more effort into this, not getting prodded. Now I think you're just riding out a common feeling about me and hoping for a lynch.
