I was thinking Chip might be the vigilante (which I was hoping he'd end up claiming to really throw a wrench into the mafia plans if he was just lynchbait town).

And also was correct on Realeo. Early TL/TR = best TL/TR.

I'm fine with the PT being released.

I also seriously thought Iron was the vig. I can't believe he played his D1 the way he did as a VT. My PR reads were all backwards in this game. :shifty:

Also the irony of me calling out Luca for possible vig pool and with CB being the vig, if Una was lynched and he went with my pool, he would've had a straight up 50/50 chance of hitting scum (and if he killed Iron, maybe this day wouldn't have been trolled).

I so want to see this damn scum chat. Besides Mulch, I came pretty close a few times of nabbing Luca and Alchemist.

When Mafia chose what they did, I was slightly skeptical (but I never played this setup, so I wouldn't know), seeing as they don't have a power role to use to cover their tracks, but through Day Talk, it definitely made things a lot easier for them, throughout the game day.

Now for the rules, and my decision behind them.

10 days was the maximum I was going to allow for game days, primarily because I wanted the game flow to be faster than it was for my first game, and to an extent, that happened to be the case, but then again, there were a lot more people involved. The lynch on the person with the highest vote was something that screwed me over in a game a few months ago, and it seemed to be the normal thing to do at the time, which is why I put it in the game as a rule.

If I were to fix anything about this game, it would have to be my consistency. I was rather inconsistent throughout the game with what I was going to do, and it probably affected the morale of some of the players in this game. Even went as far as to prod myself in an effort to tell myself to be active (look through the vote count for proof).

There were several things I did not like, including Riddleton/Duckworth's game throw, and the active lurkers, but unfortunately, there is nothing that could have been done regarding those events.

However, if I do decide to mod in the future, then I will try to crack down on these types of players a lot more.


In final word, the clean sweep Mafia win, with everything that occurred, should have not happened, but it did. I commend the Mafia for their plays throughout, but in the end, the town was at fault.

Also, for reference, LlamaFluff, if you ever decide to patch up this set, then I would suggest you
put a limit as how long Day Talk lasts
, so the quickhammer at the end doesn't happen.

Nah, the +EV for town by getting an extra PR in exchange for daytalk is fine. Optimal pregame is to have mafia add zero powers and hope that town gets flagrant garbage since cop/vig is really where the power is at (IC/BG = ez scum win).

Interesting to see this ran 10/3 instead of 9/3; is that a permanent fix of the setup?

I mean, I'd almost say that for fair balance town should get automatically either a goon cop or vig, and then from there the other PR (as well as any add-ons due to scum power picks) is randed among the various other roles.

The problem with guaranteed goon cop is that scum would pick PRs to completely negate a town PR. Goon Cop in itself is too easily negated in this setup.

There were a lot of things that shouldn't have happened happen. But honestly I really dislike Ironstove's play in a LYLO situation. You don't vote with your first post of the day and give scum the chance to do a quickhammer like that. That was stupid and he didn't wait for the massclaim which could've actually outed the entire scum team.

@Mulch, you realize if Chip claimed Vig and so did you, we'd leave you both alive for the real vig to shoot the fake, you know this right? Like any situation that a vig gets counter claimed, you leave BOTH claims alive and let the real one deal with the fake one.

Also scum was shit out of luck, because while guessing the wrong powers that they took, I would've still been looking for another PR claim.

Legit, 100% pissed off with Iron though. Not happy with playing with him at all.

The point there is that if scum DO pick those other PRs, then those other PRs are claimable and useful. Goon cop as a semi-default is there as protection against wolf teams that don't pick PRs in the first place (which is still optimal).

But yeah lolvoting in LYLO is really dumb, as is lolhammering at any time, as is... uhhh... loldayvigging early day 1 ;)

Very surprised by chip and realeo's roles - given how openly they played I had them down as likely VT's.

I always had assemble down as a pr but he didn't appear threatening enough to be worth a NK.

There were a few strong players for town in this one so we did well to get the perfect win I think.

I am satisfied with my play here.

But yeah, I acknowledge there is a correlation between my reading accuracy and the amount of content created by other players. I'm still working with how to make reads with minimal content, so if anybody would like to share tips--please :)

No, I think that's fine; that's the advantage scum gets in return for the town PR. If a town player votes in MyLo or LyLo without deliberation, that's the town's problem.

Good game everyone. I actually thought IS softed a PR, which is why i never worried too much about him. Luca I didn't hardclear but he was still my strongest town read, so well-played. Alch started out looking towny to me but leds as the game progressed, as i said somewhere. I came very very close to shooting him n2 after iso-ing him but gave him the benefit of the doubt given we were already at 6-3 and likely to wake up to 4-3 if i was wrong. Mulch i couldn't get traction for a lynch and because he never came under real pressure we never got to see the full-on Scum!Mulch fireworks. I might have shot him n2 but i jad already iso-ed / metadived Realeo, Alch, CK, and UnaH and my eyes couldn't take any more, so i just went for the runner-up / info shot, as on n1. Realeo i thought was a chance for traitor, because he seems less verbose and waffly in his other town games. I almost shot him on n2 too, but a final readthrough of his iso made me think probtown.

I'm totally fine with the game and how I played.

Based on the scum team, Luca would have won the game.

I just sped the outcome.

We might have gotten alch or Mulch but Luca was being town read by too many ppl for it to matter. You're delusional if you think we had a chance of winning

Also I have no intention to change my playstyle. It is within the rules of the site. Previously being engaged and overly invested in a game led to me getting angry at players that didnt read the game so I'm just doing more of the same to prevent myself from getting mad and banned
