This was my 3rd time as Mafia, ever.

(disregarding that 1 SK game I won in, in 2015)

It wasn't only that which made that suboptimal,
It was the fact that Lalendra could've gotten us a valuable role cop result as well (or force mafia to kill her) which would've really helped us out.

Pedit: Yes, you did great. I could conceive Eddie being scum, but you definitely weren't anywhere close to being suspicious to me.

of course mechanical stuff is useful, it's just that almost everyone does it wrong, gets bad results, and eithe realizes it themselves and stops or convinces others it's bad by how shit they do with that.

Ngl the whole time I was thinking "ugh, I bet I'm so far off and it's going to be so embarrassing" but to find out I right gives me a bit of an ego boost and confidence to trust in these types of reads in future games. Of course, now that people know I'm going to be putting heavy faith in that, they might intentionally go against it just to fuck me up :3

I would like to apologize for a mod error on my part. I'd like to think this error introduced variables towards the lynch on Lalendra that would have otherwise not been present.

A short summary on what happened in thread. Lalendra had claimed she sent me a PAIR of roles during the draft and received one role as a result. Later on during the game day, I noticed a question asking me what I would have done if a player did not specify a singular role during the draft. To which I answered that I forced them to choose a role. This very clearly contradicted Lalendra's position, which may have caused people to think she was lying, which very likely fueled her eventual lynch.

During the draft, several people, did in fact, sent me a pair of roles. And I did reply to them asking them to choose a specific role out of the pair. However, I did not do this to Lalendra for some reason and just noted down Role Cop.

I realized that my answer clearly compromised Lalendra's alignment one way or another soon after I answered it in the thread. After consulting with the listmod we decided that the best way to keep damage to a minimum is to let the day play out naturally.

So I just wanted to say sorry Lalendra for my mistake. Here's hoping future mods running this setup wouldn't repeat the same mistake I did!

I also wanted to say that please don't let this mistake detract the perfect mafia win. While it may have made one mislynch easier than it should have been, it did not influence the mafia team's consistent performance in any way.

right but the dipole that was established was rb in me or scumcop in ico - if i were something else (vig, neighborizer vt) and after my lynch i didnt flip rb that might impact how ico is read?

The mafia team was great, but I do think not immediately mislynching Lalendra would have put town in a much better position. While I disagree with the way that was handled, I think you did an overall great job in running this game @Yessiree.

for the record, our play wouldve been very different if I wasnt planning on dying. I was trying to set up shit assoucations everywhere I could point out to my partners, such as my waffling on saske or the fact brass flakeouts are xcum indicative. I planned on being lynched d4 or d5 if needed. luckily, wasnt needed.

taly and katy were fun to play with, check the mafia pt for more. I read the game, decided brass was simyks partner and I specifically repped in to be scum with simyk. got lucky. broke my replace in meta, but ah well.

I don't really know how to resolve a scum vengeful during lylo, so I'm kinda glad it didn't come to that point. There was no precedence in this setup. I know in other setups there have been cases where vengeful is disabled in lylo, or would only retain its effect for the first (N) days, but I decided that the vengeful modifier is in effect ALL the time which included lylo. This meant lynching Eddie during any lylo from D4 onwards would have resulted in a mafia win.

No, that's not true.

If Eddie is the last scum and its 3p LyLo, then town wins by lynching Eddie that day and only that day. It would have been fine though to call the game early due to vengeful.

Yeah, Eddie's vengeful would've basically crushed our chances of winning cuz the notion of you being scum wasn't something any of us was really worrying about.

Eddie was vengeful. SIMYK/Kats were RB. I was the goon that was set to go far in the game.
