we had an intent to hammer. it's safe to say people genuinely want the slot to be lynched. a "hurry up and post" wagon as your sole wagon is horrible anyway. In post 561, Vorkuta wrote:VOTE: S_S
This is scum defending his scum partner.
-Most people on the JPG wagon were there for "hurry up and post" reasons, not because they GENUINELY thought that the slot was town.
-S_S panics seeing the gradual transition form "inactivity wagon" to "scum wagon" and intervenes
-He's assuming that this is a 100% town wagon with no scum on it based simply on how "smooth" it's going.
there's no reason to think SS is scum with Gantt here rather than just town who doesn't like the fact we're lynching someone for no reason and they're the sole wagon.

I'm fully caught up now. I skimmed a little but with a 2 day deadline that's kind of what you have to do.
I got the fairly strong impression from that, that what scum has mostly been doing this game is basically watching town get wagoned. John wagon was dominant, momentum died, then Creature wagon started. Individual people were voting each other but there never appeared to be a strong wagon effort, outside of those two. Besides they both kind of feel town to me. So until further notice I think Titus and Creature are town.
Something_smart feels genuine and has echoed my thoughts multiple times - about the John wagon and especially comparing it to Volxen in Musicals - and generally seems to be spewing sense. I think he's town here too.
I think it's very difficult, at least for me, to get a logical read on FL in the early game. I feel as if this is town!FL, though.
That leads to a worryingly wide scumpool of {Zulfy, LUV, Baezu, James, Skellen, Vorkuta, Easybake, Hitalt} where I have to narrow down who the scum could be and pick the best vote for today.
I keep wanting to delay this and just wait until some future point where I can get better reads but then I see the deadline and remember that I can't actually do that.
VOTE: Dr Easy Bake
I don't like the intent to hammer on JPG - like at all. I don't like the way he jumped on the John and Creature wagons. I don't like the way he made such a big deal about rolling VT in a normal game and decided, not only to share his role with the game, but to keep saying stuff like 75 (I'm a VT so I'll just post for my entertainment) and 103 (I despise being VT) and bringing it up. I don't like the way he responds to serious questions with stuff like this:
And I don't like his FL push. I don't see the genuine thought process behind this:In post 747, Dr Easy Bake wrote:I've already made a pact with Vork so I can never vote him. So it doesn't really matter what I think, because I will never swing a vote his way.
FL, trying to cloak himself? How and why? And just, how do you get this from this situation? In post 502, Dr Easy Bake wrote:I think Flavor is just trying to hop on to my VT claim to cloak himself. Very sus.
And then he goes and votes FL's pet JPG wagon?
This is the best vote today IMO. I'm watching out for {James/Skellen/Zulfy} especially because they pin me but there's nothing that substantial to back up those feelings, besides James' awful 1061 but he's also the towniest of them outside that so.Reach for my hand, I'll soar away into the dawn-

I'd still like an explanation for this. These are the posts in question:In post 191, James Brafin wrote:Town-reading Vork and Skellen right now. I don’t think their level of analysis on me comes from scum

Your "which food" question is on the fluffy side of things.

It sounds like you're on a first date and you have to ask the most generic/default questions at hand to keep the conversation going (at all costs )

Dr is pretty much just fluff posting.
Baezu seems to be half-buddy, half shading.
Creature just feels like he has WAY too much setup knowledge.

I also don't understand this progression. You say that you can tell John's alignment from just his first post. My issue here is that James and Easy bake have the most logical reasons to be scum imo but like, none of them particularly feel like scum if that makes sense? i mean sure that can be a s/s interaction but it really doesn't have to be and i don't think that's something to base a read on?In post 1095, HitAlt wrote:
I think this was the first one to ping me.In post 374, John Pierce Gantt wrote:I haven't had a chance to read a game in full detail yet, but Vorktua seems to be the same Vorktua from the last game. I'm not going to lie; I didn't actually read his cases in detail yet for me to comment. However, I did feel conviction in his posts. I believe someone else made the same comment as well.
To contradict what I said earlier - I had a scummy vibe from Vork in the start (as usual), and this felt like something you can throw out there to softly put your teammate into the gray area of reads.
Another very vague read.In post 374, John Pierce Gantt wrote:Dr Easy Bake initially seemed like he wasn't doing anything but clogging up the thread for no reason, but when I focused on his posts a little bit I did see a bit of trace of trying to sort out things.
Then a VERY sudden "scumpool" thrown out there after these very vague townleans. In post 376, John Pierce Gantt wrote:
All Mafias are most likely in this list.
Looks like a good place to start for me.
No good reasoning so far.
And his reply to me for calling him out on that?
17 pages of content made him basically townlock 5/13 players, since he claims that ALL scum are in that list.In post 484, John Pierce Gantt wrote:Why is it too early for that? The game was already in 17 pages at that point.
I'd argue it doesn't matter how many pages we had, but D1 is way too early to claim something like that.
And you see..he could've just as well said that "it's not set on stone" or something like that, but instead he doubles down on it.
It came across as scummy to me. Afraid to backtrack or budge at all.
...can continue from here later if you want, now I have to get busy again..
it's vague maybe in that it doesn't delve into exactly why he sees deb that way but is that scummy? it's basically just "i think deb has been genuinely scumhunting" which i think is a legit read.
how is that scumpool sudden? it's a natural thing to do with your reads. in fact it's very similar to what i literally just did in the first part of 1069. if you have townreads, you take them out, and from there you have a scumpool to look into.
and he says that all scum are "most likely" in that list, not that they absolutely certainly are. which makes sense, because he townreads the other players. i don't understand your argument here.
and what? i can't tell if you're doing this intentionally, i don't think it makes much sense as a scum strategy, but that is not the context of that last John quote at all. you said it was too early to have vork and fl as townreads, john countered by saying that it's okay to have two solid townreads after 17 pages of content (and i agree.)Reach for my hand, I'll soar away into the dawn-

all my votes have explanations. vork vote was during catchup. later i didn't want to vote there anymore. out of that lynchpool i don't want to lynch you rn, and i'm not sure if i want to lynch skellen, and even if i wanted to i couldn't. deb wagon went nowhere and fl shut it down. zulfy wagon has pretty high scum equity and i think it'd be really difficult for scum to argue against it.Reach for my hand, I'll soar away into the dawn-

by scum equity I mean the chance of someone being scum.
I think you're town because I just don't see your attitude on me coming from scum. Ever since I replaced in you've been strangely aggressive towards my slot with posts like "you're either deeptunelling or scum buddy", "what part of x are we not understanding here?" "sorry it's wrong for me to x? oh sorry, my bad" and "are we quite done?" I think it's weird for scum to alienate a towny like this and I think the attitude as a whole is probably genuine - I don't see the scum motivation for talking to me like that. Your push on me is what started me thinking this way though, because it's such a strange thing for scum to do. Why would you push the person who clearly has the most motivation out of everyone in the game and everyone seems to townread? And it also just feels as if it's a genuine push. I also think that, as scum, you'd probably be more aware about votes on you and wouldn't have gotten the thing about Zulfy wrong.Reach for my hand, I'll soar away into the dawn-

Your "which food" question is on the fluffy side of things.
A question like "do you prefer being mafia" or something along those lines I can totally 100% get behind.... but "food preferences"?
It sounds like you're on a first date and you have to ask the most generic/default questions at hand to keep the conversation going (at all costs )
How is this level of analysis unable to come from scum?In post 51, Skellen wrote:Not sure what to think of James' entry here so far. His first posts seemed pretty generic, I felt a little bit like back then in the newbie queue when reading the general IC posts in the beginning. #12 seemed a little bit too try-hard for me, but it would be consistent with his attitude to get out of RVS without relying on RVS. So maybe more positive then bad.Reach for my hand, I'll soar away into the dawn-

what does that mean? do you expect me to quote every single post around it? what context changes this post and makes it more accurate? claiming d3 ic isn't exactly a powerwolf move nor is it something fl would only do as scum, so?In post 1163, Lil Uzi Vert wrote:

if you don't like the zulfy wagon why not make a new one? your current suggestion seems to be to not wagon anyone, and that's not going to go with less than 2 days on the deadline. In post 1168, Lil Uzi Vert wrote:What I’m saying is that Vork was getting on a long stream of consciousness at the time. He seems tonally off and is pretty much impossible to townread currently. I'm not a big fan of his push on SS either. Don't get me wrong, there's still a decent chance that Zulfy's town, but if he is I think wagoning him makes him much more likely to show his towniness than if we just left him alone. In post 1170, Skellen wrote:Eh, kind of hoped to read some stuff from Titus to help me to get over the JP/Titus slot. Unlike others I don't really feel ready yet to consider that slot as town just because the wagon happened as it happened.
Won't keep my vote on that slot obviously, with JP actually just being inactive and getting replaced my wariness eased a bit. I will vote either Baezu or DEB later today. Probably more likely Baezu. Want to give some things a reread first.
Ausuka's entry in this game has been quite interesting. Mostly because she did in terms of opinion and reads more or less a 180 degree turn from her predecessor. The more interesing part is however how some people changed their reads through this replacement, although that is food for later when we have more information. But I like her approach so far, particularly in regards to DEB, James and Baezu (I approve the request for a readslist). Although I think she backed too early off from DEB. First impression is positive, considering I townread her slot anyway I will stick to it.
@Ausuka:
Tbh I don't really get the Zulfy case. Can you explain what indicates scum!Zulfy for you? He is for me mostly a coinflip as he has so far only minding his own business with only going straight after the people he suspects, which is imo no problem if it is a play style thing. The only thing that pings me are his weird interactions with Baezu where he clearly scumreads her (for unclear reasons) that aren't leading anywhere.Reach for my hand, I'll soar away into the dawn-

It's important to note here that Skellen and James Brafin join the John wagon soon afterward and Dr Easy Bake posts intent to hammer. There's no votecount to reflect this period though. In post 542, Bins wrote:

So because I won one game as scum, with a very skilled scumplayer as my buddy, that means I have a good scumgame and everyone should be paranoid of me? What? That's not a difficult thing to do as scum. I also think you could very easily look into this further if you wanted to.In post 1262, HitAlt wrote:

Ausuka has, yet again, managed to just effortlessly walk into my private townblock, but now there's this paranoia rising because of what Boon said that one time. Something about them winning a scumgame together?
Ftr the game FL is referring to is Micro 865, this game. I was wagoned on day 2 and was scumread by multiple people throughout the game. I was voted instantly in LyLo by one player too. So there's not any basis in truth to that.Reach for my hand, I'll soar away into the dawn-

does Zulfy's claim here come from scum here? it has low survivability value and even the possibility of being counterclaimed; nobody really cares if you lynch a voyeur. if zulfy is scum i'd expect him to claim a powerful role like cop, doctor or vigilante; something that would either make town absolutely want to keep them alive, or at least would draw out a very valuable counterclaim. it also makes perfect sense that a voyeur would rather claim as PR as voyeur; you can bait a nightkill without having to lie.
i have concerns with the baezu and vorkuta wagons, too. baezu as scum is capable of pretending to scumhunt (see: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=79415) and it seems more likely she's just lynchbait rather than literally unable to produce content as scum. also, baezu as town can be very suspicious. i think vorkuta doesn't have much motivation to take his vote off of zulfy and onto titus there starting another argument; that situation directly led to his wagon becoming much more relevant, and there was already talk of hammering zulfy at this point. i'm not sure why scum!vorkuta behaves in this way.
so i'd prefer to find a vote in {hitalt, james, skellen, deb, luv} if possible.Reach for my hand, I'll soar away into the dawn-
