Oh, I completely misread that interaction. I thought Seanzie was saying that Salsa was sticking her neck out, and thus was town. Didn't find that objectionable, but that take on himself is really awkward.
Given the above awkward but the tone feels like it matches up.Salsabil Faria wrote:He seems (newb) scum to me.... what do you think?I prefer they, thanks :)-

The way he is reacting to the game state. He has been very active moving conversation places and quick on the draw with responses. I don't get the vibe that he is forcing anything. In post 140, Seanzie wrote:

This is a super weird take? I've liked boxxy's posting a lot. I'm still trying to figure out nom though. I don't know if nom withholding the tell is inherently scummy but I'd really like to hear it if it's going to be justifying a scum read this early especially when it feels like cyrus town-slipped.In post 241, humaneatingmonkey wrote:let's do boxxy guys. it's a good wagonI prefer they, thanks :)-

Well the reason I'm saying it might be a town-slip is because how could he think he was in a newbie if he was in the mafia chat and knew how many mafia there were? Feel like that would be a clear wake-up call to "oh this is a mini cause there are 3 scum"In post 258, Salsabil Faria wrote:In post 236, Dwlee99 wrote:I think that Cyrus not knowing we weren't in a newbie with 9 players (hence that whole "I'm at e-1!!" drama) is a town slip? I feel like boxxy is trying to move the game forward and made good objections to nom's push without claiming the tell. I got the same exact same "oh trust me we'll kill cyrus and then I'll tell you why we did it" vibes from nom.In post 286, humaneatingmonkey wrote:

Well yea but it's typically townie and I don't see anything else weird about boxxy. Game forward by being one of the first to post real-looking reads, pressuring you into not trolling, pressuring nom to share the tell. I think objecting to the nom "I'm gonna share the tell tomorrow" is good because I had the same problem and he beat me to the punch. In post 293, humaneatingmonkey wrote:making good objections and moving the game forward can also come from scum, btw. but please, tell me what these move the game forward moments were and what the good objections were. what's your read on nom? have you considered what i told you about boxxy?
I'm not sure of nom right now. Not sharing the tell could come from scum trying to just free miselim there or just cocky town but I think his reaction to boxxy is weird there because I just want him to share the tell.
What specifically did you say about boxxy? The game is moving super fast and I don't remember.I prefer they, thanks :)-

Is boxxy still scumreading cyrus? If so yea that looks bad but I haven't seen or don't remember that. If I wasn't interested I wouldn't be having this conversation at all. I don't gain anything from unannotated quote walls. It's not how I play the game. If I'm not seeing the pattern I'm not seeing it which is why I'm asking you to actually explain it rather than just post walls of quotes. In post 310, humaneatingmonkey wrote:Is it just cyrus-boxxy-dwlee that's why dwlee is trying so hard to play blind with me? I just called his townread scum. Wouldn't he be interested? Is he delaying until the next opportunity he can to strategize with this buddies?
Okay this I can actually read, thanks. I'm gonna reread y'all's joint ISO and the interaction. In post 313, nomnomnom wrote:See I'll explain to you the difference between you and boxxy, dwlee, since it seems the reason you townread boxxy at this point is because you mindmeld with him about me not sharing my tell.
You have a good reason to ask for my tell and be annoyed that I won't reveal it because you think cyrus townslipped earlier and you think he's town, so you have a good reason to ask a player that has claimed has a scumtell on that same player.
Boxxy on the other hand has absolutely no reason to be annoyed with me because he scumread cyrus by default. At best he sees it that we agree on cyrus being scum, and at worst he's slightly annoyed that I won't reveal my tell, which is understandable. However voting me is an absolute scumclaim in this situation because it makes no sense within his progression and it just feels like he's trying to sell this read as voting what he considers to be anti-town, when he has established beforehand he has scumreads, on cyrus nonetheless. This is not a scumhunting mindset. Boxxy just isn't town here.I prefer they, thanks :)-
