There are 2 things that make me think that we may have a mason group. The way the first message is posted, it says "some people have a second, perhaps more sinister role." Perhaps more sinsiter, perhaps not, right? The second thing that makes me think we may have a mason group is the fact that the setup really seems to favor the mafia. All of the pro-town roles are out in the open, but all of the anti-town roles are hidden?
All I know from my investigation is that the person I investigated is innocent. Do we have enough people marked for death that adding another innocent won't really matter? If I die tonight, will we want 2 investigations to go to waste?Vote: All of you guys-

Actually, I think that Lazarus Moth might be a pretty good lynch.
If he is pro-town, his ability doesn't actually help that much, he won't know if the person he is protecting is innocent any more than the rest of us will.
If he is mafia, his ability could hurt us quite a bit.
Of course, if somebody else is obviously scum, we should probably lynch him insteadVote: All of you guys-

Actually, I think following me is a terrible strategy. If I happen to be mafia, I will almost assuredly lead everybody off track.
I'm really not sure what the best strategy would be, although if we do go with a random lynch today, (and I think we should almost definitely lynch somebody), I think Laz would be a good candidateVote: All of you guys-

Laz - If everybody appears equally innocent (or equally guilty), then your ability would probably be enough to lynch you
Obviously, we should try to lynch scum, but in the absense of other information, you would make a good lynch.
And I think we should almost definitely lynch today, so for right now, my vote will stay on you.
Plus, you have said a few somewhat suspicious things. Before you were getting pressure as to when you would use your ability, you said "only in extremely-contested cases" which seems like the exact time the mafia would want to pardon.
mole - I think giving my information out to the town would be the best thing for me to do, I am marking someone for death, but I think the cost is worth it. I won't do it if the town doesn't think it is a good idea though.Vote: All of you guys-

I guess it seems like coming out with information might be a better idea in this game than it would be in a normal game because the doctor has also been revealed, which means I have next to no life span. If I get killed before I reveal my information, it is kind of as if we never had a sheriff.
Plus, if they kill the person I reveal to be innocent, that leaves me alive for one more day to try to investigate somebody else, until I actually find mafia.Vote: All of you guys-

sorry, my internet connectino was a little hazy for the past few days.
I think the mole bandwagon is something about mole trying to get in close with me or something. I don't know if I think it is actually ahppening though, so I think I will just keep my vote on Laz until something better comes up.Vote: All of you guys-

Now that I think about it, the roles don't seem like they were randomly placed. I think Speedy attempted to place the roles where he thought it would result in the most interesting game.
Deputy mafia makes an interesting twist, as if the sheriff dies, the town will be getting skewed info.
Mayor mafia is more interesting than mayor townie as far as the ability is concerned.
Actress cop makes it so that the cop can't vote for the person they know is guilty.
Priest - killer creates an interesting connotation as well. It is my hunch that Stewie is the SK, although I could easily be wrong.
and with that I willvote: Stewie
I think we will have to rethink the whole pro-reveal and anti-reveal correlating to innocence and guilt thing, as we have an innocent and guilty party who were both anti-reveal. I believe, however, given the fact that we have hidden roles, that it would be best for MeMe tonotreveal her innocent result from night 1. And I would like to encourage any hidden doctors we have to protect Meme tonight rather than myself, as she seems much more at risk than me.Vote: All of you guys-

I'm not using metagaming to determine your guilt. I believe both you and Laz are guilty.
I'm using metagaming to guess who is more likely the SK, as I would prefer to get rid of one killing group. It seems much more likely to me that you are the SK versus Laz.
Even if I am wrong, you are still a good lynch, as Laz would probably suffer a night kill from any other killing groups tonight if I am wrong anyways.Vote: All of you guys-

Actually, I think at this point it doesn't particularly matter who we lynch. If we lynch one, one of us dies tonight, then we lynch the other tomorrow. If we lynch me, everybody sees that I'm innocent, and they will probably kill each other.
In any case, I guess I should get the ball rolling, and I would rather kill the person who posts least of the two, so

You know, now that I think about it, it might be better if I get lynched.
If we lynch Cubs, you all will find that he is guilty, then Laz will kill somebody, probably either Xanthe or Jaguar. Then he will proceed to explain how I am trying to trick all of you.
If we lynch me, then you all will find out that I am innocent. Laz and Cubs will go into night knowing that the other is the remaining killer. They will each have the choice of killing a townie, or killing the other person. Their will be no advantage in killing a townie, the only way that either of them would have a chance of winning would be if they killed the other person and the other person kills a townie. Thus they will each need to kill each other to have a chance to win, and as a result, the town wins.
Of course, there are a few risks inherent in either method. Xanthe, you make the final decision.Vote: All of you guys-

Let's assume I am scum.
How would I have been able to get away with claiming that you were scum 2 days ago? I would have had to have known that I would find the SK in my investigation the next night, or else an innocent would have been lynched, and I would be next.
I also would have had to have known that Meme was going to be Mod-Killed before I said that, because she would in all likely hood have some sort of doctor/angel protection, and be unkillable at night, and would have easily foiled my "plans."
I also would have had to risk the SK killing off Laz and revealing me to be a fraud.
It would have been a very bad idea for me to have outed Laz 2 days ago if I were really mafia.
The more likely explanation is that I am actually a normal cop, and I got an actual investigation result that let me know that Laz was scum.
Hopefully you will come to the right decision, and vote for Laz.Vote: All of you guys-

Sorry, I've been out since Monday night. I suffered a separation in my costochondral junction of one of my ribs, and I've had more important things to do than Mafia.
Back to the game...
I've already laid most of my arguments on the table, and the right choice seems pretty obvious if you look through the thread, well to me at least. I hope you make the right decision Jag.Vote: All of you guys-
