Some games need a push start... I have played games without random voting on another site... without an early mistake from a player the game can easily grind to a halt before it ever really gets moving.

Sorry lindy. Massclaims are bad on day one, asking for a quarter of the town to claim day one I can only see as worse. It may not catch any scum at all while it could give them 3 town roles. Not up for it.

Lind... if this is the case can you narrow explain your role a little clearer. Regular cop or role cop? Is there any way that your partner could be mafia?

Not one to turn away two confirms, but this is the kind of stuff that mods could put in to throw off town in the event of massclaim, like masons of which one is scum.

By the way, LF, I don't know what it is, but I get the feeling Rouge is scum, probably because of his semi-lurking feel, which is what I've seen scum do in response to my fabricated dichotomizing of the game the last time I managed to do it. To be scummy such a thing would have to be severe. At that stage in procedings nothing much was happening and thy really was the scummiest looking person. It was a vote to get rid of my random one.

As for how I would want to massclaim if we did it, i would say it should be to have everyone list their top 3 scum choices, then the person with the most votes go first, 2nd goes 2nd, etc.

Too easy for scum to manipulate from the inside. I prefer diceroll chains or better still the claimer picks next chain. Not only is it harder to manipulate, but what manipulation there is is clearly displayed.
