  1. Votes must be bolded and at the start of a line. If I don’t see it, I wont count it.

Flavor(?)


In this simple town, everything was routine. The people were pleasant and regular, and deviancy was unheard of. Everyone woke up at 6, went to work at 9, were home by 5:30, had a nice safe dinner, watched the late show (but not too late), and went to bed by 11.

But then the trouble started...

At first it was small things; a speeding ticket here, an un-capped toothpaste tube there, but then it got worse. Soon, kids were staying up to watch 'Live at the Improve', and mom and dad were out till all hours. Dads started missing league night at the bowling alley, and moms began ordering Chinese food instead of pizza.

Some folks think it's judgment day. Some say it's because of video games. But we, who know better, say it's because of the Mafia.

The Mafia, with their deviant ways, have infiltrated this peaceful town and corrupted it at it's core.

It's up to YOU to decide the fate of this town, and, as usual, there are only two solutions; Lynching and Murder.

And so, with the threat of inaction looming over the sweet little town of Normalcy, SpyreX was finally chosen to hang. Everyone crowded each other to get a good view as he was led to the gallows. When asked for his final words, SpyreX remained silent. Instead of further argument, he simply lifted his shackled hands, raised both middle fingers, and flipped everyone off. Outraged, the town screamed for the trapdoor to drop. The knot was good, and SpyreX's neck was broken at the end of his fall.

The crowed square held it's collective breath in anticipation. Folk cast about furtive glances, looking for any sign that the town had become more normal again. And
that
is when it started to rain dead frogs.

I have to apologize to everyone; the 22nd was Sunday, not Monday! Wow; go go gadget day planner.

The 72 hour Night should already be over, but since I advertised it as both the 22nd and Monday, I'm going to err on the side of caution; Night will end Monday the 23rd at 5:30 pm.

I apologize again for the very long night; I *hate* it when mods do things like this. I guess now I can understand how easily it can happen. I hope you can forgive me for this mistake.

Night 1 has ended...


The morning paper was not delivered today...this was MOST irregular. What could have transpired in the night to cause such havoc?!


It was soon discovered that

sometime during the night. Furthermore, all the photographs in her house had been tilted to a 45 degree angle. Would there be no end to the madness?


After the morning coffee, raisin bran, and orange juice, the townsfolk met, once again, in the town square to ponder their next move; clearly, a throat needed slitting...but where to lay the blade?

Are things better or worse? It's hard to tell. There were waffles for breakfast this morning, that's good. However, there was no syrup. There was toilet paper in the bathrooms across town, but not double-ply. It's as if, last night, the forces of good and evil each lost some of their power.

Congratulations Scum! Thanks to everyone for playing. I'll try to get thank-you cards out sometime in the next couple of days, but for now I'll just say you were a nice group to moderate, and I hope you all had fun.
