Gaawwwdddd.
I'm such a slow reader.
Anyway, on page nine, and so far I get a feel for a dank+kiku+lowell scumteam.
But that's just my gut speaking.

Are you saying I should be more like you and Nikanor, then, and post mostly one-liners with little content?
Sorry, I'm an extra-slow reader. I am caught up now.

Vote:Lowell

My reason is simple:
The one analysis post Lowell has made reeks of buddying, and the rest of his posts are worse than nadroj's for agreeing and bandwagon hopping.
His reasons for putting dank in his 'town' section are crap.
dank- I don't know what to say, he's just been useful. 261 and 299 in particular.
Post 271, FC votes nadroj for scummy bandwagonning.
Post 272, Mokina FoSs nadroj for scummy bandwagonning.
Post 298, Hero votes nadroj for scummy bandwagonning.
Post 299, dank votes nadroj for scummy bandwagonning.
Even though dank is the third to vote for nadroj for scummy bandwagonning, Lowell seems to think dank's reason for voting is original or something. Out of the three people mentioned in Lowell's big ol' timeline of votes, the third person to vote nadroj for a reason identical to the first two is the only person deserving of a + for towniness, according to Lowell.
dank, post 261 wrote:
As said before
, mason claims are usually good for town. They either give us confirmed townies to narrow down chances for a miskill, or save possible power roles some nights by having scum kill off masons first, who have no night actions. The claim is good for the town and good for your win condition, so why are you crying about it?
The other post Lowell mentions is post 261, where dank ADMITS his post is not original.
So really, if we get rid of the posts by dank that are not original, we get:
dank- I don't know what to say, he's just been useful.
261 and 299 in particular.
This seems like a rather weak justification to put someone in your town category, especially considering you miscredited dank while attempting to justify your classification.

His reason for putting Far_Cry into his town category is WIFOM; I'm not going to say anything about it other than that, though.

I'm curious as to why he puts Mokina and Hero down as 'squarely pro-town', when his timeline has three -s on Mokina, one - on Hero, and not a + between them.

So I'm seeing either a Lowell-FC-dank team or a Lowell-Hero-Mokina team (unlikely imo, claiming mason with a scumbuddy is suicide), just based on Lowell's poor reasoning in his PBPA.
I am in the bottom 10% of scumhunters onsite!

We're running out of time for a lynch fast. I will switch to hammer if that becomes an option, but I urge ThAdmiral's voters to consider a hammer of Lowell over a no-lynch.
Actually, we can just run out the clock and Lowell will still be lynched, thanks to the new deadline mechanics.

I'm not liking Gwynplaine's day two posts. As far as I can see from his posts in isolation, he has pointed itty bitty suspicions at just about everyone, without a single FoS or vote yet. Care to share your suspicions so far, Gwyn?
iamusername wrote:
Lowell was a claimed information role. You did not vote for him following his claim. This is something pro-town (or at least something not anti-town) that you have done in this game, unlike kiku, dank, qwints, Nikanor or Gwyn.
I really don't like this quote. Not only are you misrepresenting the facts, you are deflecting from one person to others.
As a side note, I think that not voting for claimed power roles is more of a null tell. Remember that depending on how large the scum team(s) is/are in this game, they may think on day one that they know someone is telling the truth about a claim, and try to look more pro-town by not voting for someone who they know will flip town.

You realize kiku's 'rolefishing' post where she stated she thought Hero/FC could be masons was iso14, right? She never thought Mokina and Hero were masons together; she never pushed for a Mokina/Hero mason claim. That's why I'm confused as to why you are saying kiku was the one who outed Hero/Mokina, no less being right in doing so. Another buddying post to add to Gwyn's list, I suppose.

Oh wait, yes he would claim bulletproof even if he wasn't, it makes scum target town instead. Anyway, if qwints is the SK, and he hits town, we lose (assuming the scum ignore him and wait for him to be lynched). Our best chance, imo, is to lynch the claimed SK and hope to hit scum every day.

Vote Count Nine-Point-Five

qwints: 4 (Nikanor, dank, SerialClergyman, Gwynplaine)
dank: 1 (iamausername)
kikuchiyo: 1 (qwints)

Not Voting: 2 (DTMaster, kikuchiyo)

With 8 alive it's 5 to lynch.

qwints is L-1.

Current Deadline: Monday, August 10 4:00 PM EST

Whoops, that's what I get for using an old vote count as my base.

Yeah, the sheer number of anti-town players in this game was astounding. Our protection power roles were all given to the inexperienced players, unfortunately (trying to be nice, here).
