Mini Game 21 - Game Over

Life in the town of Morendo, Italy used to be quiet and full of peace. That is, if you were completely oblivious to the organized crime syndicate that has pretty much run the town since its founding. Use the word banana in your confirmations. Lately, a sinister mafia group has been slowly whittling away the town, for reasons unknown. Double this with the fact that people, seemingly, have been dropping off the face of the earth has spurred the citizens to hunt down the mafia, in hopes of ending their reign of terror. Failing to do so will cause me to taunt you post-mortem.

Rules:

-Lynches will be made by simple majority. The number to lynch will be posted at the beginning of each day.
-If the day begins to drag, I may set a deadline. If a person does not have the magic number of votes, it will take half of that number to lynch (rounded up). If two people tie, then the first person to get that number of votes will be lynched.
-You may vote "no lynch". A majority of people voting "no lynch" will end the day just as a lynch would. However, "no lynch" is not subject to the deadline rules.
-Night roles, please send targets to me through PM or by email at paul_beaudoin@yahoo.com Either method will be accepted, though I would prefer PM. Also, if you choose to use email, please include your mafiascum handle in your message. This also goes for any questions about the rules.
-I'm not kidding, don't tempt me.
-Failure to recieve a night target (if you have one) will result in getting a random target the first time, and missing your night action from that point onward. If your night choice is optional, I will assume that you choose not to target at that point.
-If you do not post during the day, I will begin to search for a replacement player for you (barring an extremely short day). To avoid this happening, please let me know (preferably through PM or email, though in-game is fine) if you are going to be away.
-All other rules (no discussion of the game OOT, no posting at night/after death, etc) will follow standard mafiascum protocol.
-And lastly, my word in any judgement call is final. 'Cause I'm the mod. Deal with it.

BTW, you can consider this to be Night 1, so any night actions who haven't sent in yet, do so. I'll be nice and give everyone until the 2nd to confirm and/or get their choices in. It is New Year's, after all.

TightLipsTony walks home from the coffee shop, munching on a donut. This has become a daily routine for him since he left the police force. But with the recent spree of disappearances, he is more than ready to use his experience should the need arise. Suddenly, a shadowy figure grabs him from behind, covering his mouth with a formaldehyde cloth. He then drags the now unconcious Tony into the alley.

Meanwhile, across town, jesternl prays silently at the cathedral. He doesn't notice the bead being drawn on the back of his head. The gunsman pulls the trigger, and after a very loud bang, jesternl falls to the ground in a heap. A voice booms from the heavens:

"DAMMIT. REMIND ME NEVER TO TRY AN EXPERIMENTAL ROLE IN A MINI GAME EVER AGAIN."

jesternl (Prophet) is dead.
TightLipsTony (Retired Cop) is missing and assumed to be dead.

The town grabs ExDeath and strings him up. In addition, some of the townspeople grab bats and begin beating him like a piñata. When you decide he's good and dead, you let him down and search his pockets. A wallet, some car keys, nothing out of the ordinary.

"Hey!" someone shouts. "Those are my keys! I lost them three days ago!"

"And that's my wallet!" someone else yells. Looks like the town found a theif. However, nothing is revealed indication ExDeath was mafia.

ExDeath, Pickpocket

has been lynched. The pickpocket could target one person per night, and recieved items that hinted at the target's role.

, jesternl, could ask the mod (me) one yes/no question per night that did not ask if a player was mafia or evil. The

Sorry about the delay.

Day breaks, and two more bodies are found. Well, one. The Accountant lies face down in a puddle just outside his house. The camoflage fatigues he was wearing and the dogtags around his neck show he was a definetely an army veteran. Too bad he didn't have his gun last night.

Later on, you find a book of notes lying in the street. The inside cover says "Dragon Phoenix". Inside are many sordid details concerning...food production? Unsanitary commercial kitchen habits? Later on, you find one particularly interesting detail: "Morendo: Butcher not following guidelines. Also has been killing people to sell as meat. Must concact authorities." That's not good.

"No I'm not," Pim says. "Why do you say that? Where's your information?"

"I'm IS!" he screams. "I don't need information!" The town, whether it's because they trust IS' instincts or merely to shut him up, lynches Pim.

"Hey, there was a stethoscope in his pocket," Night Stalker says, searching the body's pockets.

"That's obviously a tool of the mafia!" IS yells.

"And here's a PDA with different doctor's appointments filled in," casinopete says.

"Only a mafia would carry a PDA!" IS replies.

"And there was a mini-diploma in his pocket," mneme says. "It says 'Pim, M.D. He's a doctor. Really.'"

"That's a mafia diploma!" IS shouts.

"Hey," a voice no one recognizes says. "I'm a member of the mafia. He's not. Get over it."

The crowd slowly dissipates from Pim's lifeless body, except for IS. "But...but...but...mafia..." he tries rationalizing to himself.

mneme lies dead in the streets. Beside him is a pair of binoculars and a camera. Looks like he was stalking someone.

Green Crayons is nowhere to be found. "Well, he said he was going on vacation..." someone says.

"Hey, here's a plane ticket with his name on it. Dated for today," someone else says. "And here's a mafia revolver next to it." Rejoice, town, a mafia is finally dead!

The town (or what's left) gathers around casinopete. "Hey, no need to lynch me," he says, pulling out a police-issue 9mm. He places it to his head, and *BANG!*

Internet Stranger lurks just outside Night Stalker's house, waiting for him to come out. NS does, checking his revolver and putting it in his side holster. IS grabs NS from behind and slices his throat with a knife. As he carries NS' body back to his shop, he hears a voice behind him. "Why did you have to go and kill my partners like that?"

IS spins around to see Trevize. "What? But NS was scum! Wait...oh shi..."

Bang.

Trevize, Mafia,

is the sole survivor. The reason I had this last night is because I gave both NS and Trevize the opportunity to backstab each other, due to a PM I had gotten from one of them asking if the other could be the SK (both declined the offer). I like people to be paranoid. Anyway, the full setup (I admit it was probably quite anti-town)

Sorry, I've been kinda busy.

mneme, you would recieve a "Did not target" result if:

1: You targetted the prophet (he didn't have to specify a person with his questions)
2: You targetted the vigilante, and he didn't kill
3: You targetted a maf that wasn't sent out for the kill.

Men, the MOD was vicious
