Hallelujah! The game's starting!

vote: warrior4037
, he's got the longest name...perhaps compensating for his
short stature
? Hmmm...

Or, I could just admit it's a random vote.

P.S. Congratulations Boba & Mackay! Awwwwww.

Bobacino wrote:how could the priest's ability have not functioned?
Hmm...I don't know, but according to quercitron, it didn't:
quercitron wrote:Apparently the self-protection part didn't work out too well.
Bobacino wrote: My guess is that the priest used his protection on himself (a prayer) and that he will come back to life. I think the protection of the priest might be to ressurect people...
Quite an ambitious conclusion, Bobacino. You could be right about the priest(s) having the power to resurrect (due to the "uncertain" category on querci's status page)...but Corsato's listed as "dead," and I'd have to guess that one only earns that distinction when one ain't coming back.

OK, MatthewV, I'll agree to one date...but you'll have to
earn
my love -- and voting me isn't a step in the right direction, bub. :?

Speaking of the need for chatter, Pestilenz hasn't posted at all yet and Atticus still hasn't corrected his "random" vote for a non-player.

~pokes Pestilenz~
~kicks Atticus~
~tries, unsuccessfully, to avert eyes from Boba's...erm...
manhood
~

I thought the purpose of "getting a room" was to be a bit more private...if you leave the door open, it's kind of useless guys.

Not that I
should
take on the mantle of "experienced player," but you know I can't resist throwing my opinion out there. So, here goes.

All of these roles are new to me...I've got a few guesses, though.

I expect that at least one player has leprosy and, since it's a communicable disease, can spread it to others. If it were a serial killing role, the killer himself should die (unless he's just a
carrier
, and not afflicted with symptoms), so that would be weird. How 'bout this: maybe the leper(s) can create a mason group by spreading the germ -- lepers are usually quarantined in a colony...

As for the incompetent mafia -- I rather doubt they'd be a danger to themselves. Perhaps they're just not guaranteed to take out their chosen target? Or have a chance of being "seen" when carrying out their kill?

And another thing. It's possible Dirge is just playing dumb and knows
exactly
what is meant by incompetent mafia.

How about "though maybe a definition of 'heuristical' is necessary"?

So, I admit it. I had to look it up. And for all of those who, like me, are too lazy to ever consider using a word like...what was it again...oh yeah - heuristal - when there are perfectly good two-syllable words that will get similar concepts across, here's the definition:

"Relating to or using a problem-solving technique in which the most appropriate solution of several found by alternative methods is selected at successive stages of a program for use in the next step of the program."

You're welcome.

 You're full of information, 'cam, but you apparently didn't remember that you're
already
voting for Atticus.

By my count, he's got four. If he doesn't show up soon, he'll have five, my compliments. As our push resulted in a post,

unvote: Pestilenz

Just a quick aside -- we had a debate going in one of the discussion threads on this board about posting in games in which you're not a player. I am whole-heartedly against the practice, and I think this case (Atticus voting for CS) only helps prove my point that it's potentially damaging to game play.

Hmm...the lovers are a bit
obsessed
. But, think about it, when Cupid hits you with his arrows o' love, how is restraint an option?

Maybe one day you'll be so lucky, MV.
