In my experience, players who get frustrated when nobody gets their "jokes" are mafia.

Germy is being pro-town right here in trying to get us all up off our asses and actually do something. Even if he WERE scum, we shouldn't chastise him for getting discussion started.

Overall, I've found his analysis to be more or less correct. Many of us (myself included) have been being contentless. That only helps scum.

Content being a post that contributes toward the ultimate goal of ending this game, either for town or mafia. Posts like "Vote: Jack's Mom" and "I was just trying to be funny" don't serve that purpose.

In small doses, they're ok, but I wish that there was some progress. I hate Day Ones

Uggh...this is bad. Mucho.

We should look at the people who piled on votes after mine. We can also investigate my vote, if you want, but I was genuinely surprised with the way the other votes piled up so quickly. Two of the four people who voted after me are dead...so I want to hear from Simenon and Mariyta. Why did you both put a vote on OMG so quickly, putting him so close to lynch? Sure, his behavior was appalling, but we still could have gained from more discussion.

I'm actually getting worse vibes from Simenon than I am from Mariyta...which is odd, considering that Mariyta's vote put OMG closer to lynch. However, I trust evidence more than I trust my gut.

Simenon needs to explain himself, though.

Damn, because the lynch went so quickly, we can't even look who specifically WASN'T on the lynch as a sort of evidence...things went too quickly.

It wasn't a mistake, per se...I logged on, saw the votes piling up, and decided to unvote THEN, because if by chance he hadn't been lynched yet, I didn't want that last vote to go on while I was counting votes.

After I unvoted, I immediately went to count and saw that it was too late.

I didn't like the speed the spectrum wagon progressed with, and the fact that Simenon is on it (and so so eager to lynch) is definitely making me recoil.

I don't know why Twito and Chao-Dio are going after Nai with such a sense of glee, but oddly enough they seem pro-town for doing it, at least at the moment. I am seeing the logic behind their votes...Nai contradicts himself quite a bit.

No vote for now, but I'll be thinking.

At this point, I'm definitely seeing two sides here. Nai and Simenon seem in alignment, as do C_D and Twito. I'm sensing more of a tie between Nai and Simenon, though.

I was suspicious of Simenon at first, if only for his place on the OMG wagon. Then I thought Simenon was paired with Nai as a possible scum partner. Now that Nai is removed from the equation, I'm not ready to vote Simenon yet...that would put him at -1.

My thoughts: Spectrumvoid is scumbecause of the whole hammer debacle. I'm also metagaming a bit...I've seen spectrum now as both town and mafia, and I'm being more reminded of mafia-sv. However, I don't take metagaming to mean much...I mostly think she's scum because of her actions leading up to the mariyta lynch.

My second supsect is Twito...for getting quiet leading up to the mariyta lynch. Could be scum watching the house of cards slowly come together and being afraid to talk for fear of knocking it all down. Or he could be town...he kept his vote on Simenon, after all.

I'm feeling good about C_D and alko, but I'm not thoroughly convinced you're town. You're just not high on my list.

We need to hear something from TSQ.

A_k, you make some good points about C_D. I'm not one to say open-mindedness is a scum tell, but C_D is showing too much doubt...and trying to cast a fair bit of it amongst the rest of us.

I'm not convinced about C_D, but he should definitely be examined more closely. Very, very closely.

But before that, we should get rid of spectrum. Of course, we should discuss that first, but I'm feeling good about a spectrum lynch.

I wish I had something more useful to say, other than "we should play well," but I don't. I've had trouble getting reads on people this game, and if it wasn't for my role as cop I would have been completely useless to all of you.

So at least when the mafia kills me, they'll only be removing a powerful night action...you guys won't be losing any worthwhile insight on my part.
