Though true, scumhunting can be used in their favour. If they have better reasons against one player, but SM-scum rather wants to lynch a weaker player, it gets different.

Both their reads basically ended with 'definite scum' so I don't see why they wouldn't vote Ger. Weaker player? there are benefits to vote weaker players as town when you have 2 similarly strong reads. Not that I think that was their intention probably just a hydra thing where the person writing the post's scumread is Ger and someone else's was HTL etc that probably was why one was voted over the other.

OK I didn't quite ignore it.

I did find the post they brought up on Ger pretty scummy, complaining about activity while not attempting to be proactive, if you are town you ask a question or you do something. In that regard I found their vote well placed.

But what's your opinion on SM then?

I've not played a game with this role before and it's not clear to me from a brief look at the wiki what the benefit of claiming would be.

The claim currently doesn't do anything and if the person targetted was town it never will therefore there is no downside to town claiming it. There are some minor benefits but explaining them kind of defeats them. Needless to say no downside to town claiming and with scum knowing that asking for a claim puts them in an interesting situation.

Yeah! I think I also would like a summary of the game it would be really useful.

Anyways; I have a very strong feeling Elyse is scum, it is hard to explain why but basically she was activeish but not really active on D1 and not really lurkerish enough to be called out on it. She has positioned herself to not take heat from being a lurker but also isn't being productive; Her posting has been uninspired. And she was posting on ms yesterday but did not grace us with her presence.

This literally describes your day 1 play to a tee. I was productive on Day 1. Day 2? Not so much, but my life has been crazy busy and I haven't had time to myself for MS for an extended period of time until today.

I watched decided who I wanted to lynch and got them lynched that is being productive even if the outcome wasn't good.

Please explain how I didn't do anything on Day 1. Use quotes and examples from my ISO because all you are doing is making vague blanket statements about my play which are totally untrue.

Obviously I wasn't using the literal meaning. You did 'things' technically but not in any putting yourself out there kind of way when I thought about the game you kind of just blended in to the scenery.

Although most people don't believe it; it is correct. It is to do with scum needing to be x% more proactive than the highest townie and the higher the % gets the harder it is because the bigger the gap the more and more from scums POV is that their work is 'done' so their will to post drops the other factor which can play is being too proactive and not being nked brings questions thus discouraging them from posting. There is literally only one player I can think of who actually breaks this mold. Show me an example if you want to argue it's bad or fake.

Plus, he kind of hesitated on the kush wagon before getting lazy and saying "Kush is probably scum blah blah minimal damage." He also said "SM's posting has been weak but eh," so I'm feeling decent about this. Regardless it's a decent starting place...

This is only the second day since I have actually been able to post from home and my activity on Saturdays is always insanely low, so, that is a little bit of an exaggeration.

I don't really have any revolutionary new idea to add just Lynch/Vig HTL/Ger and the game will end. Reading through Slainte's ISO makes it really obvious I'm town though so that's good.

It might be, I haven't checked the interactions between those three yet.

The point was IF the read on HTL is stronger then why would they vote Ger over HTL? To bus Ger? To me it seems more reasonable that they didn't want to bus hence the discrepancy.

I was going back from your most recent posts, and I read post 694 which said what you thought about the previous day. Your previous mention of élysé was some comments directed to them in post 506. You did not mention at any point between 11th May and 21st may élysé.
I believe I am perfectly fair in trying you did not make élysé one of your scum targets yesterday and I did not misrepresent you and I did not do a lazy read on you.

I was voting her for 9/10ths of the day. I didn't really focus on her in my posting past a point but that was partly because she didn't post much, partly to do with my style and obviously there was more than one scum to find so...
