The role itself I initially interpret more as town. Either way, I think usually in games there is a counter on the opposite alignment side to balance the game. If bjc is alive later in the game and a townie dies who appears as a sort of counter, that would definitely peak some Toby scum alarms.

My role says I am a town double-voter. I can't split my votes or just use one. It was not color-coded, but because I don't believe in gaming the system I decided to play it off as if it were green. I occasionally joke about the role PMs and what colors they are, but I don't like when people use it as a scum-hunting tool. Really it's not possible to because you're usually provided with an example VT role PM.

My home site had a game ruined due to a lack of this, lol.

Onox came into the game making two posts of "oh high I'm so new and don't know what's going on".

While awkward I was willing to give it a pass because Onox could be a newb and didn't quite know what to say. However an alt would just say "oh I'm an alt but I don't want to reveal my main".

But it turns out Onox was actually Wake, which means Wake was deliberately trying to mislead everyone. Only someone with an anti-town role would want to deliberately try to deceive the town while at the same time trying to milk "newb" cred.

Possibly because you guys misjudge/misread Wake due to past experiences and his name. Either way, I don't find it super scummy.
