Noes! How dare you reveal my true name! Now I have to think of another clever post to help RVS remain interesting.

On to Episode 2! I don't know if I'll sleep tonight. :/

While that was a little defensive on dragonspawn's part (I mean, you didn't even need to answer acryon's question), I think the important thing is that Toshibite is excessively scummy right now.

But serious post:

This is going to leave a bad taste in my thoughts for a while.

I've certainly had enough of her. But I'd rather wait until I figure out how I like and don't like before joining a wagon. Unless there's something in it for me.

@Madonna - I mean I've had enough of Madonna, the celebrity.

I'm also a little surprised. I enjoyed reading Thor's evaluation on self-votes, and feel a little more enlightened.

Can we maybe ask Toshibite to properly RVS?

I think in the end we can agree that self-voting is less beneficial - no matter by how much - than any other vote, even in RVS. Given that,

Vote: LynxKuroneko

Do you feel the impact of that? I didn't think so...

Vote: Toshibite

That was a good laugh. The whole heroic part at the end.

When I said 'excessively scummy' before, I was joking (RVS-related shenanigans). Sure, your self-vote didn't look good, but I wouldn't label someone as scum over it.

I'm switching now because you're trying to justify an action that isn't pro-town. I'm getting a little irked now; its like you're trying to fill up the pages with as much noise as possible over the self-vote. Once that stops and you get back to playing the game, I'll happily remove my vote.

I'd rather have bruin ask 'why' as opposed to having a player casually ask for a lynch. Did I miss something that states why questioning a wagon is a bad thing? :/

I agree with Acryon's previous post, and as promised;

Unvote

Stating that I'm not voting to my wincon isn't really such a great argument at this point, when you know my vote was to show you the difference between RVS / Self.

I'd like someone to explain what's going on between bruin and Indigo in post #85. Or I'm just being impatient. We'll see what Indigo says.

Also, lol at Madonna's 'I'm obvtown' in post #84!

Finally, I'm pretty aggro against lurkers, and am not afraid to lynch them. Just thought I'd get that out there now.

You're actually trying to use my RVS banter to criminalize me?

Thanks for being first on my scum radar. Maybe try to actually have reasons, instead of going for cheap. (I'm glad I toss out fluff. Bad scummy players tend to grab onto the first sight of it, for some reason)

Also, Madonna, while I am happy to call a lurker scum, posting several times doesn't make someone obvtown. Pro-town, at best. But not obvtown. Trying to put yourself and the word town together isn't going to make you town to everyone automatically.

Not sure what you're reading as scummy since you put "your posts". Either be specific or don't throw around words.

And I'm going to enjoy posting and reading fluff on the first page. Nothing wrong with settling in. Some players take this so seriously that it kills the mood. Now, if RVS is clearly over, and someone's fluffing, you're free to let the dogs out on them.

Do better, please, because you're not faring well at all.

@ Beck - I thought I was baiting scum, but you're better at turning the tables than I am, I suppose. I just might like you a little. And my vote on Madonna was purely RVS. That post referred to a vote with intent to lynch (I'm pretty sure there's a difference.) And I really enjoyed AHS, Season 1, by the way. I highly suggest it to anyone.

@bruin - Are you sure? I keep getting called scum in all my games. I just want to be myself, but its not working out for me. *shrug*

I did answer. I said I though I was tugging on what I felt could be opportunistic scum play (trying to use my fluff as a scumread). You say if it just seems to be bad scumplay I shouldn't bother analyzing it, but when asked about which of my posts are scum you simply said "all of them because they don't progress the game", yet I've been active from the start, fluff or not. There's an interaction there, now, involving us. I think that counts as progress.

I, though, am happy to call out those who aren't participating. For the sake of progress, you know? So, I ask that you either read my responses to you or state that my answer wasn't clear or good enough for you instead of using the specific words "you didn't answer".

Now, I highly doubt a town player would be clawing at ways to run a smear campaign. For shame.

My laptop burned out and I hate phoneposting unless there's something worth responding to. Beck, I truly wonder why you're actually serious about using half those reasons against me. I'll let the others judge your logic for themselves.

I also was hoping for some posting from the quiet ones, which, unfortunately, has not happened.

At this point I'm willing to lynch any of the lurkers. In my experience here so far at least one of the scum was a lurker who put in little effort. So because it is day 1 and I haven't read any particularly scum-motivated drivel (or inconsistencies), I don't have a solid read or vote.

Sorry for the poor post; I'm working on getting my laptop fixed.

Bruin definitely loses town cred for agreeing with such a transparent argument (in fact, Beck managed to lose town cred in that post, too). At least stick to solid reasons instead of trying to sound like you're credible.

P.edit

Vote: Bruin

While your (Beck's) reasons for me being scum aren't all there, at least you're bothering to read the game. Bruin is content to sheep the suspicion and (sadly) back up a poor argument. Effort is appreciated, Bruin.

I'd also like you to know that my vote is up to me. If I'm not voting anyone, well, deal with it. Had Bruin not sheeped your post, you'd be the one I disliked. But Omgua isn't pretty, and lurkers abound.

Bruin - Should I not vote you over a lurker? If so, why?

Serra - pleased don't be one of those. Players who call me town end up being scum. You're making this game too easy.

Acryon - did you even read Beck's "case" against me? 6 is the only with actual merit - and ita only because my laptop died. You mean to use that trash to question others?

My, this is going to be... painful.

Beck... I'm sure you are aware you of all people aren't getting anyone lynched. Not after your cheap case earlier. But regardless, I'm inclined to see you as town, if only due to your willingness to be vocal.

P.edit - You guys have a hard time reading words for what they are, and are fantastic at turning things into ammunition. That's all I care to say regarding dragon's post.

I failed to notice it was Pac that posted that wall before his drunken excuse post, so I though he was just avoiding participation.

Though I have been doing the same, regardless of reason. If I don't get steady desktop access soon I will replace.

Please avoid quote walls and use links to the post instead.

Toshibite. Alright. I guess its worse than voting without any reason. Or giving solid answers to people's questions. Or making an effort to socialize. I never feel like anyone's town in these games anyway. I'm alright with being labeled scum.

Also, Serra insisted I was town, Beck. Didn't explain why, but I suppose 'no explanation' is close enough to what you provided.

If you guys insist on using spread votes to try to criminalize, if the new players, together with the group, decide bruin deserves a lynch, I'm happy to hammer him.

I just want a good neighbor. Is that so bad?

At this point bruin seems like a good lynch. But, if Serra doesn't cooperate (and again, we have new players), views could change. Its somewhat unfortunate we have had such early replacements just because it delays initial reactions.

I'm fine with taking your advice though.

While some others have contributed little as well.

Because you were content with supporting one of the stupidest 'thia is why x is scum' statements, putting you at the top of the anti-town list. I could never see a town player doing what you did. Sure, serra is far from a town read, but they didn't jump onto an opportunity to fan a lynch like you did (poorly initiated as it was).

To gain a different perspective: what have you said that is pro-town so far, or that would make you less of a lynch choice? Don't forget that question I asked you pages ago that I believe you didn't answer.

Please. Even a novice player like myself can see how weak your argument is. I'm dedicating my vote to Bruin because he doesn't ring any town bells to me. So, do you want me to split my vote amongst every lurker? Have you created that technology?

Didn't think so. So please stop trying to get an easy lynch on a new player, and maybe do something worthwhile for town.

@Huntress - Did you exclude certain people from your analysis on purpose? Or was it due to time constrictions? You seemed to ignore the players that were active / vocal.

I'd like to point out #419 and #421. 419 pretty much solidifies his scuminess. Spreading votes around early game is child's play. But backing out of a lynch for no good reason - that's just.

I think Bruin's getting my vote tomorrow, too.

Yay, for understanding!

And I still don't trust Bruin fully, so my vote stays there. If he's lynched, I'm obviously all for it. On the other side of the coin, I'm expressing my willingness to hammer lurkers to show my discontent for them. In other words, I'm staying true to my statements / motives.

Funny how Beli's the one who understood my meanings.

Also, you haven't used the words "town" or "scum" regarding players at all. Do you intentionally avoid doing that? I only ask because I find it rare for people to avoid doing so.

I figured I didn't have the best role... decided to throw it out there and hopefully neighborize a player that was town to sort of confirm my claim. And didn't mind getting d1 lynched in thw hope of attracting eager scun to the vc. I realize now that I should have went for a player that was actually townread, but Belisaurius actually understood what my words regarding him meant, which made me happy. In conclusion, its my first time playing Neighborizer and I wasn't sure how to play it right.

Hey, evilpac... As 'conftown' do you have any ideas on who the scumteam is?

I'm inclined to think Madonna's in there. Bruin and one of Acryon / Tosh are likely, too.

My dream team would be Acryon, Toshibite and Bruin, though... <3

If Beli is scum, then I fear for us all, as he's made more sense in the last 4 neighbor posts than most of you this whole game.

Plenty to read here, at least.

After careful consideration and deliberation, my final answer is

Vote: dragonspawn

Actually makes sense right now. Its pretty unfortunate how little cooperation there has been this game. I apologize again for lack of activity, as I am just now able to get on reliably. If anyone requires more reason for a dragon lynch, then you haven't been paying attention.

The lazy response is simply that I feel you are most likely town (compared to several others) and dragonspawn stating you're a better lynch lets me lynch him with little hesitation, especially since he didn't bother to give reasons why you (Madonna) should be lynched.

He's done nothing to contribute to finding scum except rehashing the information we don't need (sure, others haven't been helpful either, but I have to point at him for trying to lynch Madonna with 0 effort explaining).

We need to start forming concrete arguments,
and that goes for everyone
. Neighborhoods are a limited resource of information for those outside of them. We're down to half the town players with no scum dead, so at this point we're heavily relying on interactions and quite possibly gut instinct. There has been so little discussion regarding interaction that its going to be difficult to feed off them.

Oh, right. And if you're not going to bother to play, please replace out. Thank you.

Its been decided that evilpac is town. I can agree with that. So I'm hoping he'll do his part in catching the scumteam.

Dragon, could you clarify which posts you make that state why Madonna is a better lynch?

Because what I'm seeing from you is stating either obvious or subjective knowledge. Like repeating that evil and I are town / conftown at least too many times.

I'd hardly put merit into Toshibite's thoughts considering he was absent most of the time. Another opinion on the game is welcome, regardless. So are you done crying? Ready to do something?

I attempted to neighborize evilpac. He's dead in case you didn't notice. My neighborize target claim at end of yesterday clearly didn't phaze scum.

I sadly agree with anti-bruin. My gut has wanted him dead since his terrible attempt to jump on my case earlier.

We did discuss who I would neighborize, and I stated my intention last night, hoping to lead scum astray. Didn't work, obviously. I preferred to neighborize evilpac, conftown, even if useless, over you; not conftown, not a friendly person.

Are we okay with lynching bruin?

I feel like one big possibility is that you and him are scum and he used his charms to make me believe you were town, considering I had trouble reading people this game (as I'm sure was the case with lots of us).

Belisarius confirming me as town / neighborizer gained him a trusted spot on people's lists. Considering we're both still alive, I'm thinking he could be town and wrong about you (since this wasn't very public information, though its been teased at.)

Bruin's been in my sights since day 1. If he's scum, I'm willing to believe you're the other one. Also, I wasn't killed because at this stage I'm barely useful, where evilpac was conftown. Now the leads are limited. Do you
actually
think Beli is scum? Or are you just giving me reasons to chatter?

Vote: Bruin

That vote was all kinds of gross, especially given the game state. Tossing it in there alongside meaningless "analysis" didn't work.

Lol @ "I forgot I'm Vig!" then several posts later admitting you made a D1 kill... So you're screwing with our ability to rationalize the game AND not trying to get us closer to catching scum? :(

I think bruin is getting lynched today.

Mine? I'm hardly reliable. I'm guessing of all of us bruin's most likely to flip scum. His lack of participation now just makes it easier to do so.

And I thought I was bad. I wanted you killed over your D4 play, Sleepy. And its okay, Beli. I figured something was up and mainly used your suggestions as a brace.

GDI, Sleep! >:O

Good game, everyone. This keeps happening to me -.-
