I have 2 posts (this one makes 3) and that's "active lurking?" You're being generous. I would think that's hardly being active. I guess I am being a bit lurky but it's not intentional. I don't tend to post for the sake of posting and nothing has jumped out to me yet. Starting from the beginning and doing a re-read/catch up.

Page 1:

The only thing that really stands out on this page is Hopkirk getting up to 4 votes [Haschel, Dessew, texcat & vijay] by post 22.  That's a decent sized wagon for RVS.  Regardless of Hopkirk's alignment I would be surprised if there wasn't one or two scum on that quick build up.

Page 2:

The Haschel - Hopkirk interchange...not sure what that is all about.  Doesn't get cleared up on this page and the shroud of mystery Haschel applies to it has put him at 3 votes.  Other than a few RQS responses nothing else really going on.

Page 3:

@Haschel...so was the "You know why" reason for voting Hopkirk just RVS?  And why vote Samx instead of players like gob, VeeGee or Trivium?  This exchange does have me reading Hopkirk towards town atm.

Not sure why vijay follows Haschel onto Samx when he doesn't even know the reason for Haschel's Samx vote.  Which apparently is part of some puzzling intrigue which can not be disclosed until after Samx has provided a reaction/response.  zzzzzzzz

So this page has a lot of confusing posts that have me wondering how many people don't have English as their first language.  This isn't a scum tell....but I think it is something that can impact a read.

I gave my reads in 224. They haven't changed. I also mention that I no longer feel the need to ISO Dessew in post 224. I'm having a hard time keepoing up in my games atm so no...I haven't doubled back yet on questions. If I get time I might. tbd

My issue with your gunsmith result is I do not see why a JOAT would have a power that is already existing in the game. Two gunsmith abilities seems too heavy against scum...regardless of whether there is a mafia doc as you propose. So if someone supports your gunsmith claim I will be more inclined to believe you.

A texcat claim before anyone hammers would be nice as well.

I had looked at the role description earlier and for some reason read the JOAT as having a gunsmith ability. Looks like I misread. No JOAT gunsmith.

So a town gunsmith is possible.

I'm not liking texcats unwillingness to acknowledge that a mafia doc is hidden from a gunsmith and additionally...would be able to protect a partner from the JOAT vig shot. So a mafia doc is a possibility.

What result do you get NM if you rolecop a mafia goon?

Texcat looks like he is going to be today's lynch....if he flips town doc what is your reply going to be NM? And how would you expect town to view you if texcat flips town doc?

If there is a gunsmith they are more than welcome to target me. Clearing someone is not as ideal as implicating someone but it's better than nothing.

Not_Mafia (NM), you trying to push a case on me is ridiculous. But please....please take the time to concoct a case, since you haven’t yet, for the reading enjoyment of town. Let's see how well you can get those creative writing skills going.

There is a lot to not like about NM.
- His successful push to get rid of texcat yesterday. While I acknowledge texcat was a bit dense in his recognition that there could be benefits to having a mafia doctor in the game and of the existence of a JOAT despite the N1 NK....those didn't factor into NM's initial push. So essentially we can thank NM for losing the TOWN Doc.

- NM's claim has been inconsistent: 1st he claims to have tracked texcat to Klingon; then he admits to lying; then he says he’s a rolecop; then he says he watched Klingon get visited by texcat. Why not just be straightforward and tell the truth? NM’s posting has been extremely limited (in quality…not quantity) and much of what content there has been has either been flippant or misleading.

- I agree with NM’s comment that ”There is no way town has a Doctor, Gunsmith, Rolecop and JOAT.” I can’t recall any games I have had where there was a town Rolecop. I can recall a few where scum had one. And combined with the investigative powers (Cop and Tracker) the JOAT had….I find it even more difficult to believe town had all the PRs above.

Some VCA thoughts:

With regard to me: I think I have mentioned it in here...but I do not bus. In 30+ games as scum I have only voted out a partner once and that was inevitable….and his competing wagon was my other partner. So no way in hell would I go to the trouble to ginning up a case on gob and vote him most of D1 when I could have easily pushed another person I suspected….VeeGee (aka Wanderer)…who was garnering more support at the time. Especially when gob was a roleblocker! And then push for his lynch right out of the gate D2 leading to his lynch. --->Anyone who thinks I am scum has their head up their ass.

The three main wagons D1 were gob, VeeGee and Accountant. Everyone still alive was either on Accountant or VeeGee to end D1 so not a lot there.

D2 we got scum and D3 we mislynched texcat. Those ON the gob lynch and OFF the mislynch were: havingfitz and Hopkirk. Translation….we aren’t scum.
People OFF the gob lynch and ON the texcat lynch were: stoz and Dierfire. In Dierfire’s defense….his predecessor was absent most or all of D2. Translation….One or both of these are scum.

Titus was not on the gob lynch (bad) and not on the texcat mislynch (good). So VCA is a bit null atm on Titus.

Those on the gob lynch who were also on the texcat mislynch are: Not_Mafia and Salamence. I think at least one of these are scum and my vote points to which one.

IMO Not_Mafia is partnered with stoz or Dierfire.
