This is getting interesting now.
What you're doing here is misrepping me. Had Ducks voted me when she expressed her disliking of my posts, I would have had no problem with the vote. I quite clearly asked her to make her mind up.
However, she didn't. What she DID do is wait to see what the reaction was to her pushing me, andthenshe voted. This is scummy.
Your misrepping is scummier though. Here, have a vote;
VOTE: Esp
See the issue is that you and I both know you would have pushed on her if she hadn't voted you either. Because then it would have been her avoiding the situationally scummy action of voting you at this time. So yeah, gonna argue to the hills here that this isn't a misrep and you're just being a scumbutt.Don't @ me.-

Think of it as me investing in my future and backing my own play.
In which case, please explain to me how it's not terrible. Scum is looking for PRs right? If you claim vanilla as town, you cross a name off that list. What town benefit is there to making an early VT claim like that?
Yes it's a real claim.
Yes scum would want to look for PRs.
I want to ensure my night phase safety.
I claim vt, scum don't kill me. This gives me a lot of freedom in my day play. Of course if more than one person did this, then we'd be getting in to a bit of weird territory with decent chances of hitting PRs with the kill much more than previously.
I'm just cocky basically.Don't @ me.-

srs tho mtd is town bc townie motivation. I am putting bias on that I didn't expect his to come out of the gate and start padding against the flow but it's still good posting. Strongest town read. Mollie is looking good.
Thinking on dv a little more, so like an extra minute or two. He seems much more relaxed than when he was defending me as scum in team mafia. It's not much, but enough to be thrown on the town pile for now.
Also people do need to realise that buddying is as much a scumhunting tool as anything else. When an argument makes both sides look bad, taking a side controversially shakes things up and causes some amount of missplay sometimes.
On an unrelated note, I have some pocket town reads, but they need development time.
@DRK: I am not as shallow as you think. And I am romantically inclined to different users than the people in this thread, sans DV.Don't @ me.-

Good news is that I currently have four strong town reads. Sifting through the rest is the goal. BBT is looking a bit better, annoyance from his is expected due to playstyle so I'm not sure what I'm using in my head as follow up reasoning is going to hold.
I also have many precedents for claiming early, some of them have been good. Seeing as it was still getting some chatter. I'll come clean. I will claim properly if I'm getting strung up. But I want to have the ability to go ham on things and if I'm right actually have a shot of sticking around. I feel it frees up my play to do outrageous low percentage things that if correct would clear me by associative. Couple that with thinking I am actually going to be good this game and I think that the claim is fine, and should be null on people's reads of me.Don't @ me.-

Lets lynch one of these Lurkers please!
Ok lets talk about this line for a moment.
1. How is this productive?
2. If it's not productive (hint: it isn't) then what is the pro town mentality behind saying it?
3. If there is no pro town mentality (hint: there isn't) then why is the person saying it not scum?Don't @ me.-

Why should it be considered?
Ok then, let me put it this way. Say half the game is lurking, you will determine a lurker to lynch first. You do this through scumhunting of the content they have posted. Ergo you lynched them because they were most scum, not because they were lurkers.
So, if it's not productive and not pro town to state, then why is the person stating it not scum?Don't @ me.-

If half the game is lurking, town's gonna lose. nothing u can do about that.
Lemme turn the question around. What if half the game is lurking and all the scummies are in the group of lurkers? You lynch the scummy ones
How does the town win if they listen to ur horrible advice? They lynch the scummy ones
Like if I was scum right now, I'd have the biggest mafia boner reading what you wrote here. Why would scum EVER stop lurking if you're flat out telling them that you wont lynch them if they don't post? This ignores the fact that reading lurkers is a skill that many players have and should learn if they don't have it given the current site meta.

Lynching Lurkers <> Lynching a Lurker because they are lurking and not taking any other reason into account.
Plus you snipped my post where I gave additional reasons beyond the hardcore lurking. They're scummy for other reasons. But lurking is for sure one of em.
Then use that and we'd have no problem. Lurking isn't a scumtell. Never has been.Don't @ me.-

You can pull reads from any number of posts greater than zero.
They don't get a free ticket through lurking, they get held accountable for the posts they have made. If anything a smaller sample size means that they are more likely to be mislynched. Which makes it a personal liability for them.Don't @ me.-
