Unless you're going to argue that Boon's original ruleset used WM as an example for how votes should be formatted, (which I find incredibly unlikely lol, although I admit I didn't go back to check) it is quite apparent that WM adapted the ruleset to fit this game. The fact that he took it from Boon is irrelevant. That he chose to include the fact that scum may or may not have daytalk seems to indicate to me that they likely do, cuz why bother bringing it up like that in the first place if they don't?

I also notice that you haven't really stated an opinion on the matter, and that you're discrediting the mod's post where he clearly states that it might be a possibility.

I'm not arguing that... iirc Boon said that line was included in his rule set as well and that he uses it for wifom.

Because by voting the mod you're a) not helping the game, and b) Not making a commitment that could put you under suspicion. It's a way of doing something while doing nothing.

Like I said, voting the mod achieves nothing productive, as a joke randomly in the middle or end of the game fine but the whole point of rvs is to put your on players, stuff happens, and rvs ends because now we have actual stuff to work off of.
If you have your vote on the mod, you are not random voting anyone, you are literally voting the one person with zero chance of being scum.
It doesn't progress the game, it doesn't give the other players any data on you, you've just gone and sat yourself on a metaphorical fence.

20 by RC was a pretty obvious joke, unless it's some sort of sophisticated traitor signal that I can't comprehend. Like, I think most of our first reactions would be that it's a joke. So this post by firecrocer was extremely weird to me. I don't understand how a person could really think to say "why" to that. It's a joke. This reeks to me of scum trying to fit in and try to get in the game by asking pointless questions. What was the POINT of that question? There is none. So why did he ask it? This response to me calling him out on it has some scummy characteristics, mainly the fact that he tries to use a strawman to me. I say that' s abullshit question, he responds with "isn't why always an important question." Uh... that's not my point, dude. He's trying to take a joke waaaay too seriously. He also totally does a scummy thing by voting RC after RC says this. Uhh... again, something extremely NAI. Yet he votes him for it. Totally weird.

I see what people are saying about Skitter's tone looking kind of...flat, but I can't tell if it's posturing scum flat or if that's just how she talks. Maybe her playstyle is largely analysis based?
I like the reasoning that she uses and she seems to follow clear trains of logic.

Reading through the ISO is kind of giving me a Wavemode Newbie 1801 vibe though, although her logic is better.

Is there anything to support this? You don't think the wagon has legitimate reasons for their votes? Like Skitter said, he only played one game with Vedith, has never played with Boon and idk about Jin (who isn't doing anything anyways).

Okay then. For whoever brought it up, the last mini normal I was in had a 4 person neighborhood of all towns (technically 5 people actually but the 5th died before they could do anything). So I don't think it condemns any one of the three.
Also, apparently much of Scarab's content is in the hood, and I don't see anything of note in the posts they've given. So idk how to read them.

Mulch died,
His wagon was Boon, Eddie, Tes, Keyen, Vedith, Skitter, and LUV
Mulch says that scum is Tes (Agree), Boon (No idea), and LUV (Maybe).
So he’s saying that D-1 the whole team comes up and mislynches him at once?
Can someone more experienced tell me if this is probable? Because it doesn't seem like it to me.
So atm I'd say at least one of these three is cleared.

One of the things I don't like about him is his voting history and the reasons he has for his votes.

His votes:

- The mod -_- which has been discussed in length. I pushed it from the start because I don't like mod votes, and I was looking for something to push, and we got a lot of content out of it.
- Skitter (for her dislike of Scarab’s reasoning, can’t tell if it’s rvs or not)
- Me (because I attacked his mod vote)
- Revotes me :/ for emphasis, or kicks, or to discredit it right after calling my case on him complete malarkey
- RC (again, votes someone for pushing him)
- Fykus, for his intent to hammer, which looks like something he's going to try to push today
- Unvotes Fykus bc is deciding which to vote: RC, or Mulch, or Fykus
- Votes Mulch, again for scumreading him, I haven't looked into it but i'm wondering if Tes votes Mulch when the wagon begins to gain some serious traction.

All his votes (except Skitter which i'm not sure of) have been for people who pushed him, which seems like him opportunistically looking like he is forming scumreads and moving the game while he's just pushing back when people push him. That coupled with his wallposts where he just quotes every line and observation and asks, "why" instead of analyzing the posts make him look like scum to me.

It's not just a simple omgus vote, or a couple, it's the fact that all his votes have been against people who pushed him. And that looks scummy to me because instead of looking for legitimately scummy things, he falls back on "scumreading" people who thinks he is scum.
Like, literally to see Tes' vote history and scumreads just look at his wagon.

The only person on his wagon who he doesn't scumread is Scarab, possible scumbuddies if Tes flips red.

I don't know how specifically scum!Tes acts, never played with him before but I do know that as scum you should look like you're doing stuff, a better strategy is to actually do stuff but in the scumgame I played I tried to /look/ like I was doing stuff more than trying to hard push people because I was scared of getting caught.

I haven't thought about Fykus yet at all tbh

well, you said you haven't thought about fykus. that is definitely something you need to do. that's textbook tunnelling which leads to misplays. make sure you're considering town tes and the rest of the game unless you have an actual cop guilty or the like.

In my defense I hadn't given Fykus or anyone a green light, nothing they've done screamed scum when I read it initially and I just haven't taken a look at his iso yet.
