8/2 with a 1-shot jk and a 1-shot vig means that town effectively gets an extra lynch. otoh in an open 7/2 just a pure cop is balanced, so in a closed you probalby need more...

I'd probably think about it, but in the end would probably want to give town a little bit more. Probably the bigger issue is the jailkeeper can only really put it from odds to evens, so the utility of that role is actually not super high. Maybe a 2-shot jk would be ok though?

OTOH, a scum neighbor is explicitly scum power (which I think is consistently under-valued fwiw), so the potential of a scum neighbor itself leads to a greater level of town power likely being required.

I'd probably also say that basically the ONLY configuration where you can even consider that is when you're looking at an all-goon team, and the stats bear out that most hosts simply don't like running all goon teams, so in general you can expect SOME kind of non-goon power on scum team, and then from there you can setup spec that the more powerful PR claim is by setup likelier to be correct I guess.

I can corroborate that setup would never pass review on my end, too.

With town getting an extra body compared to the norm of 7/2, it’s probably not WILDLY far off.

Acutally the one where you were lolhammered as doc was the one where I went 2/2 in guessing the scum team while PMing penguin on i think day 2?

The newbie we played together was the one where the scum team was a pair of newbies but the town collectively decided that caring about playing the game was boring
