Let us return to a time where the world was not so happy. Where Joseph McCarthys were able to run rampant on society, and accuse whomever they pleased. Not too different from mafia, eh?
There is a little town in this precious world. A town called
Redville
. Now, Redville
is a tiny town, but has many big problems. There are communists dogs running around everywhere, socialists handing out their free healthcare, and anarchists just trying to ruin good ol' fashioned capitalism! This is clearly a problem, and it's up to all the Capitalist Garys to solve! Rules:
- Editing posts is going back on your word, which is something only COMMUNISTS would do! So don't!
- Those found attempting to steal away into private threads or outside areas with information pertinent to this game will be terminated! This area is under the MOST SECURE status EVER, so DON'T REVEAL ANYTHING OUT OF THIS ROOM. Spies are everywhere!
- Only communists would use cryptic codes and hidden messages, so anyone caught attempting to do so will be killed with extreme prejudice!
- While gambling is an important part of any capitalist society, it is not acceptable to use when finding communist scum! As such, don't use any randomness when deciding your vote!
- As a law-abiding capitalist, you are expected to know and follow all laws and regulations set forth by our generous mafiascum lawmakers.
- If you have an accusation, you must bring it forth in an official manner like our forefather Joseph McCarthy did! Use Vote: Communistor VOTE: Communist for all votes! No finicky or tricky votes are allowed.
- All capitalists are expected to show up on time to every meeting, and be seen working. I will give out prods at 2 day (48 hour) intervals. Get 2 prods in a day and the next one will be a replacement. Get a third one the next day, and the next is a replacement. After 5 total prods, you will be replaced with extreme prejudice. Capitalists must be prudent!
- As a civilized capitalist, I will offer you vacation time(not that I have a choice). However, if your vacation will last more than 2 weeks, then perhaps this job is not for you! By skipping an entire day of work, you might miss important things, and your skills will not be able to acquire wealth!
- These rules are subject to change. If a major development is undertaken, then you will be notified with an Official Announcement!
- #FF0000is my color, so don't use it! Anyone found impersonating the moderator will be treated as an usurper and executed.
- Anyone attempting to take advantage of genuine human error (my own mistakes) will be deemed as an opportunist communist, and subject to execution. This includes, but is not limited to, attempting to take advantage of flavor, posting after the day's results are posted, even if the topic is still open, and looking at the syntax/grammar/spelling of a person's claim to determine if they are lying. This also includes bending the rules. SO DON'T
Setup Details
- All private chats can be used at any time except during a lock in case of emergency
- All days shall last for 2 weeks (14 days) until 7 players remain, in which case the days will shorten to 10 days
- Nights will last 2 days (28 hours) no matter the playercount
- All factions will win when there is no way for any other faction to win. This includes any possible nightkills, vote-changes (doublevoter, lynch-proof, etc.)
- In a case of everyone dying, the faction farthest to the left of this list will win, provided that they were still in the game prior to the final death. The only faction guaranteed to be in the game is town. This is also the resolution of all kills and abilities that would have the same resolution time (e.g. scum roleblocker and town roleblocker)

- In order to obtain a NL, the required number to hammer is half of the playerlist, rounded up.
- Any and all players may talk during twilight, but twilight will end as soon as I post the death scenario and flip. This includes even if I forget to lock the thread. Votes and unvotes will not be taken during this twilight.
- Randomness is assured (at least as much as it can be) with random.org

First and Foremost: Mafia is a game about having fun. Anyone who is seen a. Making personal attacks, b. Using excessive profanity in a destructive manner, or c. Making "rage" posts in a way that doesn't contribute to the game will be replaced out IMMEDIATELY. If you think this is a good scum tactic, too bad. It's dirty, and I'm sick of watching it happen. If you need to vent, make a journal entry in a word document or something, but a game isn't a place to do that.
