It's very simple. I know my role card is town, and if you are town , which i still think you are, then we just stay on Apr . I think you are causing her and caused me a lot of confusion in your posts.

As for Asph's motivation, I think it's more of a personal thing ? I know that as town, I don't give up the town fight. Part of this is due to my growing up in fairly bad settings.

Anyway I'll come back to this later. I'm still mind boggled that this game is at a standstill.

Okay, so, if apricity flips town we don't put

any

bgs in performer or myself because they can't kill in the vts anyway without outing the goon/traitor. Because of this we put the bgs on the bodyguards so that if:
You die: BNL becomes confirmed scum
BNL dies: Asphodel becomes confirmed scum
Asphodel dies: Expedience is confirmed scum
and finally
Expedience dies: He either ends up flipping traitor or town we would have mislynched anyway, which leaves us the options between bnl and asphodel and since I'm very sure of bnl town we can lynch asphodel as he is most likely to be scum if expedience is town.
If apricity flips scum:

Expedience on titus
BNL on Me
Asphodel on Performer
(Or however you want to mix these bodyguards up)
This protects all the confirmed town (performer and I become confirmed town with an apricity scum flip)
and forces scum to kill someone in the bodyguard pool.

This plan doesn't exactly work as you say it. In the first case, none of the bodyguards you said will become confirmed scum (except for me) because scum can just kill whoever the BG is protecting to kill the BG which is protected by another BG.

Nevertheless, there is nothing too wrong with the plan, so I am fine with using it.

Expedience began unloading from the supply truck the crates of apples he had ordered for his shop. Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain and with a yelp, dropped the crate he was carrying.
Apples spilled all over the floor. And out from underneath them crept dozens of tiny scorpions.
"What the hell!?"
Asphodel stepped out from the truck's driver's seat to see what was happening.
"Oh God! I'm so sorry, I have no idea how this could have happened! I'll get in touch with my supplier immediately."
Expedience had to be briefly hospitalised, and in the meantime, the shop assistant took initiative and called the police.
Despite the steps the crooked trader had taken to cover her tracks, it didn't take long for Apricity to be apprehended.
