Like I said, 9 alive w/ 3 scum, that is closer to losing than I want to be. The truth hurts...

Eager dude if you're town you aren't doing yourself any favors. That's like the least useful argument ever.
I AM TOWN BELIEVE ME is completely NAI. Do useful shit instead of quibbling if you want to convince people.

What do you expect me to do? Make wallposts and color-coded read lists?

That would be a start, yes. You can feel free to skip the color coding.

Really the answer is 'legwork'. Demonstrating that you are trying to solve the game and find scum, rather than faffing around, feeling sorry for yourself, and making stupid quips.
Basically, play mafia.

I am inherently disposed to believing you because I really would rather live in the world where Boring is scum. But you're making that really hard to accept, and that's probably an issue for you if you are town and want to win.

Your town reads on that list is literally just all the people voting Boring.
Do you have some other reason for these various players? Or how about this, talk to me about the Dierfire read. Why is he on the scummy end of your reads?

Do I need more reason than they have no reason to bus their partner instead of going for an easy double-ML?

He's on the 'need to sort' pile because he never took a stance regarding current events

Sure, because "They are going for a double ML" asserts that you are town, which is not a fact currently in evidence.
It makes sense from your perspective perhaps, but not necessarily from mine.
Also, it ignores that perhaps a scum has decided to bus their partner at this point.

He's your number three scum read unless I'm reading this wrong.
Or you literally haven't sorted a single person because boring.

You're reading wrong but it doesn't matter because it's all moot if boring is town or s_s is scum. Thus is the reason I don't like making readslists because reads are very heavily influenced by circumstances

Okay, how should I be reading the list?
Boring is number one scum, got that part. Who is number two scum?

If number 1 scum is indeed scum then number 2 is definitely in the 2nd line, number 3 is also likely there but could be hiding in 1st line.

No, I mean, give me a name and some reasons why they're scum, not including that they're part of the hullabaloo involving your claim.

Why have you all written 21 pages since yesterday? I've read through a few pages, but I simply will not be able to make the time to read that much material thoroughly until tomorrow (and it would be tremendously convenient to not have another 21 pages written between then and now).

I'm aware that Shadow_step is claiming Ascetic, which I assume is why eagerSnake has a wagon now. I don't know why Lil Uzi Vert is voting for Shadow_step--I would think that a Mafia player would be unlikely to try to counter the claim from eagerSnake there.

I also see that boring is the leading wagon, which I assume will be discussed in the pages that I haven't read.

I was both justifying my vote on PenguinPower and expressing willingness to vote for Gamma Emerald as well. I guess that we'll see whether anything changes when I get caught up.

I need further input.
I mentioned that Grendel's summary made me rethink some things. What I'm having issues dealing with is determining the motivation behind a certain play. This play is the "both are town" idea that Eager and Maria have suggested. Thing is, I've used this defense before...
...As scum. It's a great way to avoid getting trapped in a CC if it works. What I need to know is if this is something you agree is something scum would do. I'm feeling incredibly confused right now and this feedback will help.

Of course scum would do it - if they thought of it. Although I wouldn't believe it is a natural reaction as scum to call your cc town, it would take someone who is at least pretty good at scum and already pre-planned out his claim, and what to do when he is counter-claimed. If you think I did that then you're giving me too much credit

Scum would do it. But so would town that believe it to be true. It's based on personalities involved, imo.

Personally, I just put it out of mind and am trying to evaluate all three lynch candidates individually. Of the three, SS's narrative seems to track most closely with how he acted in the thread (see my previous posts for explanation), so I'm not keen on lynching him over all of it. That leaves Eager and Boring at the moment.

What are your current feels on both of these candidates and why? Which do you feel is a stronger case?

I'm pretty sure I've made myself super clear on those points, maybe hit that ISO button.
