I had a big case for TB/RB/eager ready if I needed it, and we only needed Dark to vote with us instead of against us. Hapa dying actually made it a lot tougher on us.

I thought about nominating the scum team, or even just you but I realized this win was due more towards bad town play vs good scum play that you wouldn't win. And I'm sorry just like the oscars being nominated isn't that great of an honor. Winning is the only thing that counts.

There's not a lot of pride to take in correct reads when you're dead or end-gamed.

Mafia is a team game. It should be super obvious who had better teamwork. Read the scum QT. Then read the shit-fighting in the thread. Town lost this game on atmosphere, and all this post game "I was so close to figuring it out" really misses the point.

dw bro I think virtually every town player played pretty bad the loss isn't on you, we all start spmewhere. make sure you're always aware of buddying though, so many newer players get buddied by scum and are unaware of it.

Just keep playing more games. There's nothing specific about the newbie queue that helps you improve in my opinion. Playing with a lot of experienced players helps just as much.

If it helps, dark, you weren't chosen because of you being new. Honestly, I didn't even think about that, and you were a last minute decision. The thing is, I felt through the majority of this game that I knew exactly how all of you were going to react to certain stuff. And I'm obnoxious and like to push buttons. I knew where our threats were too.

Also, I'm currently in queue to mod a Large Normal, and I'd love to have any of you be in it when it goes into sign ups. I may be asking for a two game completed limit. It's going to have cryptozoology flavor.

I started this game wrong actually because i was way out of practice not playing for a while, my system is normally to get 33% of the game on townread first which i never did, which got me confbiased and i didn't even properly sort like 8 slots

Keep in mind, I was right there not allowing that to happen.

At the risk of sounding too cocky, simply helped fuck this game up from the start. Scum were leading the quicklynches each day. Scum were the ones that added 4-5 extra power roles to the game thanks if to two fakeclaims. A lot of the bad townplay was initiated because of scum strategy.

Yeah, there were some terrible decisions made, but don't take the credit away from scum because they helped get the town to make those decisions.

Town barely lynched transcend through the claim. That was all me pushing that nonstop. The fact Eddie brought up that he self votes made me push it even harder and to be even more obnoxious about it. I have a tendency as scum to get people to self vote themselves.

And with the bad town choices being made, we did WIFOM the game and add like 5 roles into the game. It makes sense town was all over the place because of that. We also got to keep the game the pace we wanted it, and we pocketed dark, pushing him into voting.
