I may not be a pro but I don't believe I am a newbie. I'm less likely to listen to advice from players that are insulting me for being newish. I did predict the scumteam correctly and got Night killed for it, however. I think I am improving nut still have work to improve on.

I get the feeling Una was never going to reconsider, at least for me, and if that's the case you should have just hammered without getting a replacement

I tracked FL. After eddie flipped town I figured out it was likely a FL/GR/Paul or FL/GR/Thor team and they were just trying to next-level us or something with their fake claims. If I had known FL was Boon that just would have further assured me of that lol

Not in this particular game, no.

I have been taught in one of my first games though, that you sort of "should" always reset your reads in LyLo, or atleast try your hardest to take distance to your previous stance.
At least while you read the game again or whatnot.

Well, I tried to do that, but frog and Eddie both explicitly named Paul as scum over Thor, and my own initial read on him was town, so..

Nightmare LyLo for me would have been deciding between TiaM and Paul.

It was a really obnoxious situation where I had to either

1) Hope that you didn't notice the problems with the theory that Thor just randomly went along with two really poorly considered claims
2) Argue that he for some reason supported it: which is what in the end I went with and had to handwave a lot of the theory
3) Argue that GR and FL went ahead with it in spite of Thor's objections, and that he still didn't outright bus them

At any rate, I had fun. There's not many games I've been in where I had to work as hard or as quickly as I did here and I think I learned a lot from the experience. I do still think I would have won versus a lot of opponents in the 1v1 or a lot of people having the hammer, but you both played really well. I caveat that I think Unabombah's play is wrong on principle because I think Thor would always be townread over NTRP regardless of alignment: but Thor did a good job of responding to my walls and towntelling and Unabombah did hammer correctly, so again well played.

Yeah, I've heard of the 'reset' theory, and I think it has some merit insomuch as I do advocate that there is a lot of logic around the ol' 'if you're in lylo with an obv. scum and an obv. town vote the obv. town' advice - but you also need to parse that in context of the kills, and it's foolish to totally forget the past.
It's a wonky line to walk though, and I say that with an exceedingly impressive win ratio when I get to lylo.

Paul was right btw. i didn't actually townread him really, I expected him to sheep me regardless kid alignment. i was waiting to see how and when he sheeped me and if he stopped weirdly or only sheeped on town (both things I noticed and why i switched my read d4) id know he was scum. :p
