  • somebody who votes quickly and generally declines to talk in lylo i think will more often be town; "please unvote" tends to be a scum reaction as town is looking for any excuse to not have to deal with solving the game
  • you can fakeclaim a limited shot role
  • in practice something like multitasking roleblocker is just uncommon and from a probabalistic standpoint sky can only be town when that is the case - i think brian didn't play unlike a roleblocker here but he would have made more effort to point out this probability if he were such

Brilliant play this game Sky, really solid bussing, and great job keeping it together as Last of Kin.

HWS had a pretty strong day 1 as scum for him, almost sorry that his slot got killed due to the replace outs.

While I was pretty tilted about my 'brother' being lynched d1 I've kinda come to accept that it wasn't unreasonable for town to go that route. While I still disagree with cow pushing the lynch before I could finish sorting, I don't think the lynch, overall, was game-losing.

Texcat, I know you might be frustrated with how this game ended up, but to be honest I think I followed your reasoning at just about every point in this game and I don't think you should blame yourself for how this game went.

ehhh i thought my fakeclaim relied way to heavily on nauci surviving hence the backpedal there

should've definitely gone with three shot but when it was claim time i was worried that having a role like that would've seemed too convenient considering how end game was coming up

instead i had to go with an even more unlikely excuse when nauci died whoops

I will get fucking brutal if that's what I need to do to guarantee this lynch, I haven't been gentle this game but you've seen absolutely nothing from me compared to what I will do.

Also FTR that needs to die before wh4t because it's more of a threat to the long term town wincon if its town

This is probably my favorite post of this game, and further establishes masons being naturally scummy in my mind.

tw targeting me the same night as skygazer made this game really difficult for town because it made skygazer seem like loud fruit vendor to me
skygazer not getting lynched at the end was stupid as were both the gamma and brian skies lynches
establishes masons being naturally scummy in my mind.
most masons who roll mason take it as an excuse to play badly and blame others for it and this game was no exception.
2019 stats: Town WR 76.7%, overall WR 81.667%, 1 scum defeat involving a major mod error in lylo vs 8 scum wins.

At least one mason took it as an opportunity to be incredibly condescending, and they chose to distance from each other for who knows what reason. I can't say they didn't deserve to be lynched.

At least Krazy had the wherewithal to crumb a third mason without making it obvious, and he did so very well.

also just based on setup spec there's literally no scum roles that justify 3 masons + traffic analyst+ jailkeeper without 4 scum

Honestly, it doesn't make any sense for a multitasking roleblocker to exist in the same setup as a jailkeeper, let alone a fruit vendor and a loud role as well. It defeats the purpose of the setup.

Anyhow, I thought this was a really interesting setup as far as the town side was concerned.

If I were texcat, I wouldn't beat myself too much over this game just based on how some things played out.

thanx :)

my goal was pretty transparently a variation on the familiar theme of 3 masons vs 3 goons - i tend to think jailkeeper is a generally interesting town role with masons it is very possible that it could have successfully healed or blocked a kill 2 times so as to add a mislynch. fruit vendor for funzies. vanilla cop is a counter to masons, though that ended up being more or less irrelevant to this.

appearance of a loud fruit vendor is something i didn't consider, though i don't know that would be alignment indicative. fun fact: i told rc those results in person at toronto and i'm glad i didn't accidentally let on they were different actions lmao

Actually I am usually right.

If the town didn't mislynch a mason, that would be an extra chance of lynching scum, meaning one of texcat/Brian Skies would have already been dead come 3p lylo.

Skygazer you're fucking brilliant mate

I'm sorry I shouldn't have impulsively replaced in I didn't want the slot to get mod killed but I definitely did not have enough bandwidth to catch up on a full game T_T
