If we're talking mid d1 I was the first person to call out the scum team, so I'm obviously the best town player here. You're welcome for the carry.

Wow, what an amazing game!

Gotta say pisskop's claim did kickstart the game into some gear and from then on it was a constant rollercoaster. Good job town and good game!
I had loads of fun, especially nearing the end of day 1. It's the longest one I have ever had, but it was worth it.
Feels like I've been here before.

Don’t feel bad. Lots of people get fooled.

Also the reason why me and Tchill didn’t seem like s v s is because I actually got so wrapped up into the game I forgot he was my scum buddy. We didn’t talk at all in our mafia forum.

AtE = appeal to emotion, it's when you're trying to sway someone with emotional arguments rather than logical arguments.

It's a really scarily effective form of persuasion in the real world, and tends to work quite well on people who aren't aware of it, but it doesn't actually have any logical force behind it; it's just a fallacy. As such, it helps to be able to recognise AtE arguments so that you can disregard them. (Note that if someone's using AtE, it doesn't necessarily mean they're scum – townies often try to use it too, especially on people who it works on – but it does generally mean you should ignore them until they come up with some sort of evidence behind their argument.)

I am a very emotional person irl. While I am jovial irl, I do know how to use my emotions sometimes in mafia.

This game was brilliantly backup-modded. I feel that guy deserves a Scummy nom for his backbreaking and painstaking labor.

AtE applies not only to blunt emotional arguments ("Why is everyone picking on me?") but also to more sophisticated appeals to baser functions. When you are manipulating your target into feeling empathetic, or playing on a personal relationship to elicit an irrational response, or when you're playing bombastically to intimidate or bully other votes and control the gamestate. All are versions of AtE.

Can one of you say something glowing about my performance here so I can put it in my sig? “Menalque is the best/most promising new player that I’ve seen on the site” or words to similar effect

Or you can wait until after we lynch creature and I’m 2/2 on scum this game

Either way is fine honestly
Oh don't get me wrong if you're town please feel free to ride that high into the sunset, then back, and to the sunset again, it's 100% earned

As for your sig, how about

"Menalque hit scum in the cojones"
