That was pretty cool. I hope they don't mind me saying so early but scum did informed-hunt you correctly quite quickly.

Honestly had LUV and NK15 been lynched on opposite days this probably would have been way more townsided.

Yeah that was a bit of breadloafing but I'm still proud, and I love the fact Sherlock fucking pointed it out of everyone.

This win made me super happy.

I think scum actually played a quite fine game, and they nearly turned it on its ear several times.

If I’d been lynched over LUV, we’d have battled over Dunn vs LUV vs all-Town ‘hood. If NK15 had managed to swing it towards Sherlock, that would have wrecked momentum. As it was, we nearly spent the next week or two lynching everyone in detail, and Garmr would have had a shot if we’d let Maria or Gamma lynches turn our heads. I was also getting SUPER paranoid about Formerfish, and that likely would have reared its ugly head. I think a D4 ML wrecks Town momentum and unity, and even with D1 and D2 scumlynches, Garmr has a shot.

This was way closer than it looked.

What was your theory? Alternating information?

Also, who is RAS? I feel like I should remember that name.

My theory was that Luv claimed informed because so were his partners along with the fact that since gamma was town and so was I n1 and n3 scum info makes logical sense.

I came to a similar conclusion in the ‘hood over N3.

I felt hopeless day 2 when comming back from my holiday the attempted bus sealed the deal also didn't see that luv tried to claim informed which made my play have less impact it would of garnerd more town reads normally.

Oh god yeah I didn't say this properly: for someone with such a strong reputation for scumplay > townplay (and someone who tends to bring it later in the game as either alignment), I was kinda bowled over by how damn good Pine was this game. That d1 solve was amazing.

This setup and the game were mostly good.
Mostly. The team that deserved to win won.
The setup contained interesting roles...
and one that... looks dubious(but didn't really make the setup much worse in this instance)
The Night 2 Informed. Despite what others said, a 3-person Neighborhood is not guranteed to contain 1 scum. It can also be 0 or 2.
Informed is a great and flexible modifier, but with that flexibility there are some dangers.
The Night 2 Informed essentially cuts the partipiciants in two halves. One with 1 scum and 2 town, and one with the rest. Until the end of Night 1, mafia has no chance to know what the others will be informed of, actually. At that time the winning plan can get very heavily disturbed with that info running around with no good way to find the Night 2 Informed.
If you have succeeded to make the neighborhood believe it is all town this info causes that to be useless. All the N2 Informed has to do is not getting lynched or outed or killed.
The Night 2 informed is alignment info that's gained passively.
Be careful with roles like that.

I think the main counter there would be have been to shift your informed status to non-modified (/n0). The point about neighbours is true; but as far as I'm concerned after an LUV flip without the informed info I still probably wouldn't touch Pine/Dunn until lylo by virtue of the soft-clear.

From a design perspective, it takes an interesting game to include two scum in a neighbourhood. I don't think this anything about the design makes me want to consider a second scum in the hood. Pine was super towny. Dunn felt towny. At a design level it's technically +ev to town but in this game it was basically dead info.
