* Votes must be in bold. If you do not bold your vote, it will not be counted.
* Please be attentive and unvote, if necessary, before casting a new vote. This is not required, but I?d appreciate it.
* Lynching will require a simple majority of votes. Once a player has reached the necessary majority, his pleas are useless and any attempts to unvote will be unheeded. You may vote: no lynch ? majority votes of this kind are necessary to end the day without a death.
* The game is not to be discussed outside of the thread unless your role specifically states that you may do so.
* Once your death scene has been posted, you?re dead. Stop typing.
* Don't edit/delete previously submitted posts
* If you have a night choice to make, it is due by the posted deadline. I will not wait for you ? if you do not submit a choice to me, tough! No choice will be made.
* If you anticipate being unavailable for more than a 48-hour period, please post a notice to that effect in the thread. Treat this game as a commitment. Be considerate ? don?t leave us hanging.
* Remember, it?s a game. It?s supposed to played. It?s supposed to be fun. Do your part.Last edited by mneme on Thu Sep 18, 2003 5:14 pm, edited 14 times in total.- mneme

The day dawns on a sad day in Newer York. The body of
Tigris(Lt. Niceguy) is found, killed with a clearly professional
single shot to the back of the head.
Additionally, PolarBoy (Captain Happy) is found, as day dawns, in his
bed, with a [NPC] woman known to be a member of the notorious Carnegie Mafia
(also dead). The two are identifiable only by the identification at
the bedside, as both they, the bed, and the back of Happy's bedroom
have been pulverized by the assailant's submachine gun fire. More
evidence at the scene shows that Happy has also been taken bribes, and
he is fired posthumously.
Dead:
Tigris (Lt. Niceguy, Cop): Killed by a lone assassin.
PolarBoy (Captain Happy, Crooked Cop): Pulverized in a machine-gun execution.- JazzRed

Well, I'm not a big fan ofcompletelyrandom votes. So I think I'll wait until more people post before I place my vote.
Anyways, about the deaths. It seems that Tigris was killed by a SK . Then that means that Polar Boy was killed by the Mafia (or at least it seems so, why would another killing role tear him up with a machine gun?). Yet, he was a mafia member himself. Very strange....Guess what? No. You're wrong. The answer's 7.- TBuG

Fishbulb and gslamm, take a look at what mneme said:
Lone assassin is the SK's kill (I assume). So then that means that PolarBoy was killed by the mafia. But then again, who knows?Tigris (Lt. Niceguy, Cop): Killed by a lone assassin.
PolarBoy (Captain Happy, Crooked Cop): Pulverized in a machine-gun execution.
Anyways, I willVote: gslammpartly because something needs to happen and partly out of revenge.Guess what? No. You're wrong. The answer's 7.- TBuG

But "lone assassin" doesn't necessarily = SK.
In the games I've been mafia, we always had to pick someone to do the killing. If the rest were followed (or whatever) that night, they'd come up innocent and such. So theoretically, even if a mafia group was involved, it still could've been a lone assassin.
Not that I'm arguing with you here, just want to make sure we don't shut down all possibilites too quickly.Fishblog!- TBuG

Okay, that was an excuse for my randomness, I decided to do that so that I wouldn't have to make a completely random vote, I chose a person and if that person was voted for on the first page, then I would vote for that person. And, it's just a coincedence that gslamm has already gotten votes. I was NOT trying to jump on a bandwagon and I was NOT jumping to conclusions about JazzRed.- rite

Then either you haven't been in many mafia games, or you have randomly been in interesting games. Most of the time, the mob just sends in a kill choice, and death scene may involve one person or more than one person, at the mod's discretion. Someone has to be chosen to make the kill only when there is, as you described a role that "follows someone around," or maybe checks peoples houses and such. But most games are not like that, and we don't have any clues that this one is.Fishbulb wrote: In the games I've been mafia, we always had to pick someone to do the killing. I agree completely. I'm not saying "I have the answer" here. It's possible this game is using a basic mafia mechanism, maybe one like I mentioned, or a completely new one that we couldn't even begin to guess. So, while it is tempting to make assumptions, I was just wanting to keep our minds open to many possibilities since I do not agree that a "lone assassin" = SK. Please read my last sentence in that post again.Fishblog!- JazzRed

jasonpingpong, voting no lynch is worse then killing a townie. That's because during the night, another person (or two) who are innocent are going to get killed. At least if we lynch someone we get some info. Because of your no lynch stance, I willFOS: jasonpingpong
Also my vote will stand where it is at least until we hear again from gslamm. So I advise that people don't jump on the banwagon and get him lynched before then.
And to clarify what I implied in my other posts, I did not mean them as "Lone assassin definitely = SK" I was just trying to draw on what information we have.Guess what? No. You're wrong. The answer's 7.-

Maybe the Carnegie Mafia took exception to Captain Happy sleeping with their woman? and they were so disgusted with this woman they killed them both?Copyright © MafiaScum. All rights reserved.
