While in the CONTEXT of the tabletop roleplaying game of DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS advancing within class levels is generally regarded as a positive attribute, within the NATURAL RULES AND REGULATIONS of this game of mafia there is a harsh consequence of negative repurcussions! Apparently town has a COLLECTIVE LIMIT of how much we can level before we AUTOMATICALLY FORFEIT our chances of achieving a victory over evil! The gods of knowledge and wisdom have not bequeathed to me the full disclosure regarding the EXACT limits here BUT as we learn more of the mechanics of the game hopefully this segmented divination becomes much more elucidated! TO transmit this in a trim and tidy technic:

There exists a LIMIT to how much we can safely level up WITHOUT giving scum a free win. SO if anyone can CHOOSE or CONTROL when they level up to any extent this is imperative to keep in mind!

I agree that it seems strange with ONLY what I have - my presumption is that SCUM, as they also should be able to level up, have an ability than secrues them an ensured victory. FOR the sake of game balance I doubt it will come up in most scenarios but I presume that it is important to state SINCE that is the major part of my role sofar. I preposterise it exists as a failsafe for end-game strategies that revolve around no-lynching CHEESE but that is mere speculation (ʃ⌣́,⌣́ƪ)

Basically if we accrue an exacerbated volume of levels (this is a mechanic that is incorporated into everyone's role) as a collective THEN the game becomes unwinnable for town! （＊〇□〇）……！

So if for example the LIMIT of levels is 115, and 6 people are at level 20 (the MAXIMUM), then town cannot win the game. BUT if they were all level 19 then there is still a shot!

I do not know if this is universal but I also know HOW I obtain additional levels and how many - and will not reveal this for ONVIOUS reasons. From how it is phrased either people level up at different rates OR they level up in different circumstances so IF there is a way to control leveling I think it is important to point out that we have a timer upon our heads!

Yes, in order to emulate characters learning more about their chosen profession as they adventure they can gain experience points which translate into levels. Wizards and other casters learn more spells and can cast more, rogues improve their stealthy capabilities and skill knowledge, and so on. Everything from combat to socializing can reward experience provided there is some sort of challenge to overcome! ヽ(〃･ω･)ﾉ

I think it is obvious that this translates to gaining abilities pertaining to role, and I can only presume that the enemy getting stronger and out of control can make the game unwinnable for us?

I was noticing that he was talking about a lot of nongame related stuff as well, but figured it was early game and as long as it didnt keep up that it would probably be NAI. I like this. I think questions about trs come more from town than scum. For obvious reasons. I know that this is something that can easily be manipulated but as far as moves to make as scum this has a relatively low risk/reward factor. This is a weird leap to make imo. I looked at Maria's iso and she had like 6 posts after the one you called scummy. Nothing blew me away in any of them, and then she votes you. You then say you no longer sr her. Why? It's hard to follow anything you're saying because it just looks like your reads are a pendulum swinging back and forth with nothing to back them.

Obviously this isn't the full picture but I think there's a stark difference in how they're playing between the 6th and on - His early play has snap judgements that I think make sense, while later on it gets more superficial. I will probably get around to posting something more significant later, there are a few things I want to reread and see if things have settled for me. I know what you mean about my activity. I was pretty jazzed that this game was starting because of what had happened with the games before. I came out with a bang because of that and then expected to be able to keep up the pace, but scheduling conflicts and Desp having trouble getting into the game left the posting on my shoulders for the most part, and I do have a lot of shit going on myself, which is why I was really looking forward to having him there as well. We talked tonight though and have a better understanding of where the other is.

I just don't have any WIM for the lack of the better term when I think people usually expect me to have a shitload of it as town (and I usually do!). It's hard to link a game in recent memory where i had this little wim as town (it happened in the scumgame you're referring to, it happened in another scumgame i know you've seen, but those had obvious circumstances where it makes sense for me to feel drained and the latter also had irl shit going on. Playing scum isn't hard for me, and I wouldn't lose motivation just because I would expect you to scumread me because then my focus of the game becomes throwing off associatives and getting bussed. I don't roll over and do nothing like I basically have been this game besides getting annoyed at Math/Nancy) but it happens and I absolutely have been suspected by people who know me for it.

I broke character anyway because I was starting to think that this table was having trouble parsing me correctly as a result of my character - that doesn't matter to scum!me because it's not really going to help me dodge rope.
