Actually, I've been trying to slim down the posts in my last few games. Feeling chatty today though, so we'll have to wait and see if I succeed.

Anyway... this being my first time playing a kingmaker game, I have some questions about how things work. I don't mind if the mod answers these, but since some address possible set-ups, my actual intent is to direct them at other players who have experience with kingmaker.

1. I understand that our votes are basically FoSes so long as the kingmaker/king is alive, but are they tallied by the mod anyway?
   
2. What happens if the kingmaker and the nobles choose the same target at night?
   
   
3. Is the kingmaker always protown?
   
4. Are there usually other roles besides the kingmaker and scum or is this more likely to be semi-mountainous?
   
5. Whom (if any) among you has played this type of game before?

I didn't just single out Gimbo. I've accused a good number of people, but their responses sounded reasonable to me.

Or at least reasonable enough to not pursue them further today.

Case in point: my discussion with ash.

Others were null-tells (such as "defends Phoebus," which you ended up doing a little bit yourself later on).

It wasn't just "defends Phoebus." It was "defends Phoebus in a vaccuum" which is to say that he's posted almost nothing for content but then defended Phoebus with little to no reason. It seemed contrived, and therefore false,

like scum buddying up to a townie

. Especially when he casually called Pheebz his "buddy." So no, IMO at least, it was not a null tell.

Here are some more gems...

Note that Gimbo's initial argument against my attacks was that I was the only person who suspcted him. Now that the pressure is mounting, it is because I am manipulative and the rest of you are "haters." Gimbo isn't capable of explaining his play, only accusing others of being incompetant.

Why do you trust Phoebus?

I do have some amount of trust for Phoebus, mainly because I believe

. Really though, I don't trust him very much. I just say we should refrain from killing him because a soft claim or two will keep the scum playing WIFOM when they pick their kill tonight.

FTR: Phoebus' recent turn against Gimbo is a tad suspicious, but just a tad. I look forward to hearing more from him on this topic.

Logistical matters concerning my vacation:

I will be posting tomorrow afternoon, but then will be unavailable until the 9th of July. I will be deep in the woods and will not have internet access at all. I will actually be arriving home on the evening of the 7th and so may post on the 8th, but I'll also have a lot of unpacking to do so don't expect me until the 9th.

I would ask that, if I am to be replaced, that it be temporary only. I am interested in continuing this game.

A note to the KM: please do not make me king for D2. I will be absent for too much of it.
