As the wagon on his hydra is fairly populated I feel no need to explore this at the moment. Revealing this would mean harder games in the future to solve Chennis' alignment, as he would be aware of that tell. I will only reveal this if needed. I hope you understand my position.

- Fireball.
First thing first I don't think anyone on this site has gotten this good at reading me minus FL or Ank, and you're clearly neither of those people. FL is already in this game and Ank wouldn't say this bullshit when she was completely wrong on me just now. Second thing is I can completely change my scumgame at a drop of a hat and you'd know this if you were actually LOOKING at my meta. Also scumreading me for bullshit or made up reasons is a really good way to throw the game regardless of my alignment so don't do that.

Your job is also to play to win
this game
and given you're willing to vote me and pretend you have a reason to do so instead of just outing it. There's no meta tell THAT STRONG on anyone particularly a player like me. Anyone who's played a game recently with me when I rolled scum really shouldn't be cocky enough to say something like "I have a reliable meta tell on chennis and im not gonna out it lul" because 1) You clearly failed last time and 2) not outing it for "future games" is a dick move. Not outing it so you can see if it still applies is understandable but "future games" goes COMPLETELY against the spirit of the "win this current game rule" and it pisses me off.

- Acute
I don't think it's against the spirit of the rules, but I do agree it's a bit distasteful.

This frustration and the way you phrased it comes from you when you roll scum. I feel fairly certain about that. This reaction is clearly a response coming from frustrated scum that wants to know how they got caught, or perhaps being able to rectify their mistake mid-way, which is unfortunately for you not going to happen.

- Fireball.
I still find this rather distasteful even if it is not illegal. It is rather arrogant imo. Not sure if it comes from town or scum though.

I'm not a big fan of day one. I'm normally one of the lynch options at the end of the day and in my experience the only useful stuff that happens is the voting towards the end of the day which almost always ends in a town lynch. I don't think anyone can have any certainty about anyone else's alignment at this point in the game unless they are scum and know everyone else it town.
I understand your position. However this tell is pretty strong, and the response to it makes me think that this tell is also applicable this game. If not for the tell itself, perhaps Chennis' response to it should be fairly telling that he seems particularly annoyed by my vote in particular, while having 4 other players on the wagon. The other reason why I have not revealed the tell, is to see what the slot would do about it, and they seem fairly obsessed with it to the point of only generating discussion about it, and not the game itself. Disregarding the tell, this is fairly scummy.
To be fair, there isn't much else to talk about. Your tell on ARO is the only real content we've seen this game so far.
In post 134, Channel Fireball wrote:My presence in those games is a non-relevant point of discussion, considering anyone can delve in the games you have played at any time. And if they do, they will certainly notice the same thing that I have notice, and will promptly join your wagon.

What made you think that our alt-condition is the one of a Lyncher? And what made you think that over the possibility of me being scum?

- Fireball.
You are pushing pretty hard on ARO for a meta tell you won't reveal. While I'm not saying you made up the tell, it does sound like something a lyncher would do.

It's also very amusing to see that you actually noticed your own tell as well. I know you have.

In fact, I invite all players here to do the same about your recent games. They can just have a cursory look and I can guarantee you that they will notice it as well.

- Fireball.
then what excuse do you have for not outing it?

exactly.
I wouldn't describe it as an excuse. Rather I would describe it as a way to show people your true alignment, without having to out the tell itself. Your reaction is quite invaluable to show to other players that you are scum, and the subconscious slip that you think I have a lyncher alt-con, rather than me simply being scum. This should be enough to prove your alignment to other town players.

- Fireball.
I don't consider the lyncher thing a slip. Maybe it is not the first reaction most people have to it, but it doesn't seem unreasonable in this sort of game.

This is just insurance that we lynch scum today.

If you want to make sure you understand what I am referencing, I invite you to take a very quick look at Chennis' recent games, then look at this one. You will probably have a "oh!" moment, and vote with us and the 4 others on this wagon.

About half of this thread is you and ARO going back and forth with each other. It drowns out all the other posts in the game.

So far, I have Elements and skitter30 as lean!town for making good observations/offering alternative viewpoints rather than just going through the flow. While ARO kinda looked bad towards the beginning of their interactions with you, they seem to be looking a lot better towards the end, and I find their stances seem fairly reasonable, so I'm going with nullish town for them. I'm also going with nullish-town for you because I don't really see any scum motivation for what you did, and your tell seems pretty reasonable even if I am not putting much stock into it.

Nothing has struck me as townie from cyrus, so I suppose I could vote there; HOWEVER, I would like to give cyrus more time because as I said, he seems relatively new to the game and may be having a hard time with this particular game.

I'm not sure who we should be pushing right now. I think we need to encourage other people to post more. Maybe gobble; he hasn't really given me a town vibe from his posts, and he's definitely been around.

Is there anything that strikes you as scummy from Gobble, or is it just the fact that you can't find a town vibe in all of his posts? If it's the latter, what's the difference between him and say, someone like Penguin, or Baezu Leaf?

- Fireball.
The insistence on wanting to know ARO's wincon/thinking they're lying sticks out some as possibly scum, but only ever so slightly. THe main difference between him and Penguin/Baezu Leaf is that gobble is actively participating in the thread whereas Penguin /Baezu Leaf aren't.

Hmmmmm
Ok. Time for business turkey.

Angles and Fireball had a fairly one way death spiral. Angles spent most of the time saying that Fireball was wrong, but never calling them scum. It is then revealed that Angles believes Fireball to be a lyncher. After revealing this fact, Angles then votes Fireball. It is later asserted from Angles that they think the lyncher is most likely town because it wouldn't make sense for the lyncher to be mafia if they could just nightkill the person. Why would someone vote someone they strongly believe to be town based upon role information? Either they do not think that, or they are lying about the wincon. I can see in the heat of the moment Angles voting Fireball. I could very easily see that. But to vote them after speculating about Fireball being the lyncher and more than likely discussing among themselves that the lyncher is town? That is scummy to me.
When people are angry, logic like that tends to fly out the window. It seems like a reasonable enough progression to me.

It would cause conflict within town and give scum a big advantage massively tipping the game in their favour unless they also had directly conflicting wincons too which seems even more unlikely
Maybe so, but I feel like this game is role madness, and that will likely be to town's benefit.

Meh, 50% is too low of odds. I'm thinking more like 70% actually.

Cyrus did a lot of stuff that looked bad, but he didn't do anything egregious. Combine that with a quick wagon formation and then a quickhammer. I think this was newb!town hammered by scum. The wagon itself may have been town-motivated, but the hammer was 100% a scum-motivated lolhammer.

That being said, I think all three pf their alternate win conditions deal with eliminating me.

Okay, I'm a Town Empress.

My alternate win condition is to survive to at least Day 4.
Because of my popularity, I start the game Super Loved (+2 votes to lynch). I asked the moderator, and he confirmed this ability works even in LyLo situations.

I'm also bulletproof as I can only be killed by lynch.

Due to my survivor win con, I strongly believe that the bandits share a win condition to eliminate me.

You may verify it if you must, and I will note that the modifier does have a condition associated with it that I'm not comfortable revealing for the time being.

But it reads more as frustrated town than anything...
Also, the mod did say at the beginning that not many of us will win. That implies some wincons are mutually exclusive.

You keep saying I am scum, but you haven't really elaborated on why that is. Penguin at least has done so, and looks better for it. This looks like someone just going with the flow, which is scummy because it indicates you aren't putting in the work to form your OWN reads.

In post 933, gobbledygook wrote:Well Numbers isn’t scum hunting that’s for damn sure. Deb Gob scum read? Seriously? Low hanging fruit right there. Everyone playing like a 3P survivor but forgetting they need the town to win for their alt win con to even matter. People playing very short sighted imo
@Numbers

Still think I don’t have any original reasons or scumhunting? As if i needed another reason, Pine and PP have claimed an all but guilty on you. I really don’t need my own reasons... but i do so... yeah

Also, why are you only concerned about my vote on you? Your scum read on me came at a time when everyone and their grandma was casting suspicion in my direction and you were going with the flow with that read. That Deb read and vote is also just super lazy considering it’s Deb
Somehow I forgot about those posts, my apologies. That said, I've been scumreading you from day 1, so don't act like I came up with it all of a sudden because that is provably false. And again, I don't have meta on DEB, so I have to base my read there based on their play this game. That lolhammer was bad alongside their second "RVS" vote Day 1 that I'm fairly confident the slot is scum.
In post 1009, Pine wrote:Numbers at L-2

Just reminding you that flipped scum Cyrus tried to trade info on Numbers for his altwincon
Let's suppose cyrus and I are mafia together. Wouldn't he be bound by the primary win condition of the mafia having to win the game first and foremost? How would trading me for his alt wincon help him if the mafia ultimately end up losing? (Being down a person because your scumbuddy ratted you out isn't going to help mafia achieve their goal. It will actively hurt it.)

I dunno. I think ARO's claim makes more sense.

@Penguin --> My point still stands. The mafia have to win in order for him to win. Getting rid of his buddy just for his alt wincon isn't gonna increase his win chances, presuming we are both scum (which we aren't).

My role PM doesn't explicitly state anything about a crown jewel, but from a flavor standpoint, it makes sense.

That's 2 days so 4 deaths, worst case scenario numbers and pine are both town in which case we have an immortal IC in a 6v2 situation.
But then I would lose regardless..... I would willingly offer myself up on Day 4 when I had achieved my alternate win con, but no sooner.

My Super Loved becomes Loved then normal for each day that I reach the normal lynching threshold.

Even if a vig shoots town once, worst case scenario is we arrive at 7 players day 4 with me being scum and the other scum. Assuming neither my scumbuddy and me refuse to vote myself, that means y'all have the needed 5 votes to lynch me then.
