I hate to be THAT guy but greeting's 356 is kinda true. if someone thinks you're scum they're obviously going to assume everything you say is a lie (or at least, a misleading half-truth). it's part of the game. taking it personally isn't really productive

I'll focus on the scum leans

strangematter I feel like has mostly not taken hard stances this game. just lots of "i agree with that" and "I disagree with that". it feels like fake participation

dwlee hopped on toog for some reason like "he is not even making an attempt at being game advancing" which, idk feels like a very shallow read. that is, both the notion that toog has done nothing to advance the game, and the notion that, if he hasn't, that means he is scum. both notions feel shallow. yet he's remained tunneled on toog and noone else since the beginning. idk if this is really the kind of play I expect from town!lee

math apparently is some kind of delayed vig? but yeah d1 I was leaning scum on him because his reasoning makes no sense to me this game yet he sort of was trying to, like, bully people into just accepting it? did not feel town motivated

I also don't think there is a good strategic justification for announcing that you poisoned someone. But I don't think that's scum-indicative, just bad strategy indicative. for now I'll accept the claim

I dislike the number of reads that wave gave. If it had been a small number or like a single unexplained read on someone I don't think I would have minded that much, but I disliked a comprehensive list that came with nothing else.
It felt like there was a disconnect between a list that implies a strong awareness of what's happening in the game, versus a level of involvement/explanation that implies little or no awareness.

but the number? lol so just for my reference, in the future if I'm writing a reads post with no justifications added, what quantity of names is your limit? 6, 7? but 8+ names then the post is bad? where's the cutoff lol. this logic is weird

in any case, you've probably never played with me but I always drop a full list at some point, usually pretty early on. it's just how I play. even if on the surface you think I have "little to no awareness" of what's happening (in fact I often feel like I'm the only person actually reading the damn game...)

I mean, greeting is obvtowning at this point but sure I can explain. I think generally I don't necessarily see scum!greeting reacting so aggressively and doubling down in 356 and subsequent posts and sort of, twisting the knife, if you will, on the personal issues mala referenced. if he's scum he probably knows that the push on mala would have much better optics if he had just called it a misunderstanding and de-escalated the matter. the knee-jerk reaction of calling mala an emotional blackmailer rather than keeping things civil, feels more likely to come from town than scum

as for toog, I townread his tone. he's reacting exactly how I've seen lots of townies react when in his position facing a d1 tunneler like mathblade. and he seems mostly just exasperated with the situation, than trying to play nice and avoid getting eliminated
