Hmmm I'm really not sure how to go about this game, I agree that the best bet is wait and see how players act and how they attack and such.

But if I'm not mistaken the fact the Monkey is looking to take territory and build a strong footheld can mean a few things

1.He is a townie, trying to make sure he doesn't get wiped out by other attackers which is valid, but I'm not really sure. The fact that people only attack for who they vote would mean that he really wouldn't have to "worry" unless people are voting for him.

That is if I'm interpreting all the rules right...

2.He is the independent role that has to win the actual game

or

3. He is scum trying to do what the scum has to do.
