This is not your normal game! See Emperor's Hand and Oval Office for Details!
Thy Rules:
Rules are mine, which were stolen off of Emperor's Hand Mafia, but first from Oval Office, which were SHAMELESSLY stolen from Werebear, who stole them from himself twice, then stole them off of MeMe. Might have a space-y feel to it, so leave me alone, I got lazy.
Nights will last exactly 48 hours. If you need an extension, then PM me. The deadline will always be posted in the thread.
Days will last as long as they need to, however, if you guys are dragging them out, I’m imposing a QUICK deadline.
Votes must be in bold. If you do not bold your vote, it will not be counted. If you are not counted, you do not exist. I, however, don’t believe in spankings.
Once a player has reached the necessary majority to lynch, the day is over. Unvoting them will not save their life.
No lynches are allowed, they require the same votes as a lynch.
The game is not to be discussed outside of the thread.
Don’t edit/delete previously submitted posts. No matter what stupid thing you've done.
Feel free to quote PMs from me, if you’d like your head to be guillotined lettuce. DO NOT QUOTE THY MOD.
If you have a night choice to make, it is due by the posted deadline. The first time you miss a deadline, no choice will be made. The second time you miss a deadline, I will make a choice for you. This usually involves you walking up to the space port outside and shoving you off of Abydos.
If you're going to be gone any amount of time, let everyone know. Please.
Enjoy!
The mod is god. Any mistakes such as inaccurate vote counts are obviously YOUR mistake. Please point out your mistakes so I can correct them. And if I ask you to stand on your head until you pass out, your response should be “SHOVE ME OUT THE DOOR, PLEASE! I WANT TO BE SUCKED INTO A VACUUM OF SPACE!” – Sacrifices of large, unmarked, large denominational bills accepted.
Additional Game Components
All of you will be assigned vessels. Every night, if you have a specific night choice, you may send a PM of "Vessel Retreat" instead of your night choice. This will send you back to your vessel for the night.
THIS MEANS YOU CANNOT PERFORM YOUR NIGHT CHOICE!! (Exception is all malevolent forces)
If you own more than one ship, you must tell me which ship you are retreating to for the night.
If you are a character which has no role during the night, but still owns a vessel or vessels, you may either choose to say station-side or return to your vessel.
Everyone starts off with 16,000 credits. Vessels cost credits to launch. You may 1) use credits to launch a vessel or 2) save up credits. Every night that you stay stationside, you earn 16,000 credits.
Your vessel assignments and your character role will be sent to you ASAP, but more tomorrow night. I have been doing a lot of things (the application to my #1 choice for university is being done at the moment), so please, bear with me!
What effect do the vessels have?
If a malevolent force decides to attack you, and you are aboard a vessel, you and that person (or persons involved) will engage in a dogfight outside the station. I will post the battles as they occur during the course of Night. I will reveal ship names, but no names unless someone dies (or if other conditions apply).
If your vessel has more offensive points than the engaging vessel does defense points, you will kill the malevolent force.
I.E. the ISD Example (your ship, you are an innocent person) has 6000 offensive points, the ISD Malevolence (the other person's ship) has 5000 defense points.. ISD Example will destroy Malevolence and the person aboard Malevolence will die.
If your vessel has more defensive points than the engaging vessel does offensive, the battle will end in a draw.
I.E. The ISD Example has 5,000 Defense points, the ISD Malevolence has 4,000 offense points. This battle ends in a draw.
If your vessel has less defensive points than the engaging vessel does offensive, you will die!
I.E. The ISD Example has 3,000 defense points, the ISD Malevolence has 5,000. You will die!
If there are questions on this, ask them immediately! It is not a complicated system. I do all the fighting for you, you just need to tell me whether or not you'll be on board your ship for the night.
You cannot be aboard your vessel for more than one night in a row. There are unknown consequences for attempting to violate this rule.
Do not leave immediately after you die in the game. There are unknown factors.
It is Night 1, choices are due by Monday (the roles will be sent by Thursday/Friday).
