Well, captain, I don't know what to say. Tally's post gave me a gut feeling, which I didn't want to vote on, but did make me suspicious of her. Hence the FOS. Seeing as how it gave me a gut feeling and nothing more, I couldn't give any reasons why it had that effect on me. I could have stayed quiet, but that doesn't work for me. Staying quiet is the death of mafia games.

That answers three of your four points. The bit about DP i put in there was to make the post a bit more light hearted.

Ok, we've expanded my one sentence to a huge post. And you're reading way too much into it. I can't defend against this, because I absolutely don't agree with the basis of your accusations, which are those classic mafia blunders you're referring to.

If the town feels I'm scum, then come on and pile on those votes. Arguing along these lines is useless.

Contradiction #1: Please give quotes on both sides of your equation. You can't.

As for what about your response I found the most troubling, it was largely the attitude that you raised in grumbling about how silence is the death of mafia games and how banter is fun and CB ought to try it. It's not simply you telling him that he's wrong; it's actually more in the direction of you accusing him of conspiring to ruin the game, though not that direct or severe. In my experience, scum are more likely to overact to accusations and respond with wholly disproportionate arguments and attitude than town.

Well, I spent some time composing a nice detailed affair accusing our captain, when I realised I was mostly attacking his playing style.

One thing that stood out though, is that the captain is not very accurate. The quote he gave explaining his paraphrase was made after the paraphrasing itself. I understand that the paraphrasing was meant to describe what the captain thought astronaut was saying, but fact is it said astronaut had said it.

Captain Blicero makes a pretty well-reasoned argument against Tal, Astro, and mepmuff.

CB is mostly making an argument in such a way that people can't help but respond. Responding equals posting which equals opportunities to make yourself look bad. I can go and post reasons why CB could be scum, as he's posted loads. But I won't as I'm not convinced he actually is a bad guy.

Your post, on the other hand, looks like a try to cash in on what would be a huge blunder by any scum.

What's wrong with that reasoning? I know I'm a good guy, I had my vote on quagmire who was under mild pressure in total and it would be really easy for him to put me under big pressure by voting for me, which he didn't. If quagmire is a bad guy, I can't see why he wouldn't. This puts him quite a bit in the clear as far as I'm concerned and I don't see how that reasoning is flawed.

I also think it's interesting to note that a bit more pressure on talitha results in both fuldu and the captain promoting their bandwagon against me some more.
