• Unless otherwise specified, living players can't communicate with each other out of the thread.
  By default, I allow mafia to daytalk.
  I will set up a QuickTopic for anyone who is able to communicate with someone else.

  rant to both dead players and nonplaying friends, although you're encouraged to first make sure that said friends aren't interested in replacing in with you. (I am of course available, sympathetic and discreet.) Regardless of where you found them, rantbuddies may not reveal their own opinions on the game.

Short thoughts, the town's lack of activity is really what lost them the game. Plain and simple. Nacho had the scum pegged on the last day, but inactivity hurt him. The Mafia also killed off all the active players, which worked to their advantage, but definitely made the game less fun.

More thoughts later when I have more time.

Re: set-up concerns

I thought the vengeful mafia might have been a bit swingy, but at the same time, I started out with an even number of people, and essentially gave Mafia an extra kill one night (if they could use it) and I gave the town an extra kill for one night. I didn't really expect Kise to be lynched D2, and I sure as hell didn't expect him to get the cop when he fired his shot. The fact that town lost all their power roles really fuckin' fast probably didn't help.

And, thanks for the pre/ins guys. I'm trying to get a backup mod for Left 4 Dead Mafia after I run my first newbie game (if anyone wants to backup mod me for that newbie game, that's all I need to get it underway). This was fun for my first modding experience - I just wish it had been a little more active. Mafia just ran a train on the town.
