Mini 208: Weather Mafia - Game over

In the World of Weather, there are some "Not so Nice," weather conditions. They wish to disrupt the balance of power that has been created by the four Seasons. It's up to the other weather conditions to save Mother Nature.

I'm your Weather Forecaster, Crola (Crola is pronounced Crola, the O sounds like the O in got. So don't mispronounce it!), and each morning I will give you an accurate description of that day's weather. I will put all the weather conditions in a hat and pull one out. I will announce if there will be, for example, "Plenty of

Lightning Storms

today." The player whose role is Lightning Storm has his/her vote counted twice. No one will know who has the second vote. This is completely random, and I cannot be bribed so don't bother trying. Also, before I pick the weather condition, I will put 4 piece of paper in a hat, three of them have the number "1" on them, one of them has the number "2" on it. If I pull out the "2," there will be two people with the double vote ability, otherwise just one.
If you win the ability to double vote, I will pull you name out of the hat for the next morning to ensure the a winner doesn't win twice in a row. The day after I will put the name back in the hat, that way the best anyone can do is win every other day. If there are two weather conditions with double votes, neither of them will be able to win the next day, it works exactly like with one.

Game Rules (Stolen from Crola)

1) No foul language or insults to your fellow players or mod. I am very serious about this, and this could lead to replacement or mod kill.

2) Despite the fact that they rhyme, even though I'm mod, I'm not God. I am human and fallible, just like you. Any mistake that I make will be dealt with by me, but don't point something really stupid out like misspelling the word "the" or something.

3) When you're dead, you're dead. No more posts from you, none. Not even "Arghh," posts. If you still feel you must talk about the game and it's conspiracies, you may only talk with me. All dead posts will be erased.

4) Do not talk with anybody about the game, outside of the game at any time. Unless, of course, I tell you to, in which you can only talk at night.

5) Night deadlines will be two to three real days, unless another deadline is made by me. Morning deadlines will not be made unless the game comes to what looks like a stop, or if there's like only two people talking about hats or something.

6) If you need extensions on anything, please ask and I'll be happy to help. Also, if you are not going to be here (on the site) for any reason, please PM me, I will have absolutely no way of knowing otherwise. I will tell the rest of the players you will be gone.

7) Like all real days, this game will start in the morning, not in the evening, which means after you confirm, the game will start.

8 ) Just like in real life, what you say has been said, so think before you speak. This means no editing or erasing your posts. Also, NO QUOTING MY PMS. This means no quoting any PMS I've given you, whether it was about your role, item, or me saying "Hello, how are you?"

9) You may post in twilight.

10) If you have questions about the game, or just want to talk about my amazing moding abilities, feel free to chat with me via PM or AIM.

11) Oh, this rule goes without saying, please bold your votes, and unvote when you unvote. A majority of votes will result in an execution. A No Execution can be voted for the same way, this way you can all go to sleep with a good conscience in your head. When someone's dead, unvotes won't save them.

12) No secret or invisible texts please, you may write only in visible English.

13) I would prefer not to have zombies in my game. Zombies are people who die, and replace someone and then they turn up on the living and dead list as Crola and Crola II. I will take people who haven't been in the game over those who are dead, so don't be offended. Also, if you were a cop and you try to be a replacement, I will not allow you to be a zombie. Any role with information like cop or mafia and you will not be allowed to be a zombie. However, a townie becoming a cop will get all his info that he collected.

14) I have the right to adjust the rules only to make the game either more fair or more comfortable for the players, this power is not to be misused by me.

15) You will only be exempt from these rules if I specifically tell you in your role description.

Also, to make things slightly more fair to everyone, I'm adding a small rule. If you win the ability to double vote, I will pull you name out of the hat for the next morning to ensure the a winner doesn't win twice in a row. Okay, after much arguing, the weather conditions decide to gang up on the weakest one, Drizzle. Drizzle has always been known to be the victim of the bigger and meaner weather conditions. He has finally been drained out of the sky never to be seen again. It's a good thing too, because it wouldn't have been pretty if he pulled out his Uzi.

Oh and a question for Crola, I'm a little worried about this extra vote setup we have going right now. For the moment it's fine but if we get to a 2 town and 1 scum endgame then we're going to have a 1 in 3 chance that the scum will just win automatically, and that's been bugging me for quite some time now. Is there a point in which the extra voting will stop?

I've put some thought into this, and I realize that as it gets closer to endgame, votes will be more precious. When I feel that an extra vote will greatly outbalance either side, I will start posting weather conditions that I know nobody has, then no one will have the extra vote, I feel this is thefairest way to go about it, unless you guys would rather I just not even bother putting up a fake weather condition.

Feel free to PM or post in thread your feelings on this subject, but no complaints means fake conditions will be displayed.

Story: You want more power than just in the Summertime and want to get rid of the other weather conditions. You know that with your strong heat powers, you can make everyone too sluggish and lazy to vote.

2) Sunny (Mafia Cop) = Vuredel
You are Mafia and can investigate every Even Night. Your allies are Heat Wave, the GF (Strykkerverde) Windy, another Mafia Cop (massive), and Cloudy, Mafia Goon (SaveTheDragons). You can speak to your allies at night.
You investigate temperature, that means you find out if some one is wet, cold, hot, etc. It may not sound like much, but it will be helpful (you'll have to figure out how though).

Story: You want more power than just on certain days and want to get rid of the other weather conditions. You and Windy are always everywhere and can see what's going on most of the time.

STD not really mafia.

3) Windy (Mafia Cop) = Dragon Phoenix II (Massive)
You are Mafia and can investigate every Odd Night. Your allies are Heat Wave, the GF (Strykkerverde) Sunny, another Mafia Cop (Vuredel), and Cloudy, Mafia Goon (SaveTheDragons). You can speak to your allies at night.
You investigate people's abilities.

Story: You want more power than just on certain days and want to get rid of the other weather conditions. You and Sunny are always everywhere and can see what's going on most of the time.

STD not really mafia.

4) Cloudy (Neutral) = Save The Dragons
You can only win by living to the end. You happen to know who the Mafia is off hand:
Godfather = Heat Wave (Strykkerverde).
Mafia Cop = Sunny (Vuredel).
Mafia Cop = Windy (massive). You can speak with the Mafia at Night.
You are neither Town nor Mafia, so be wise about your position because the Mafia knows who you are, but they don't know you're neutral.
You also know a Mason:
Raindrop (Baby Jesus).
Snowflake (HezLucky). You can speak with them at night also.

Story: Your intentions are cloudy (Ha Ha, get it, cloudy). You have a foot in each camp and don't care who wins, as long as you live.

This role is very hard, so here are some fake stories you should give to the appropriate party:
FOR MAFIA
Story: You are tired of only being a weather condition occasionally. You have joined up with various other conditions and plan to take control of the skies. You are a goon.
FOR MASON
Story: You helped in the creation of twins, Raindrop and Snowflake, and you still keep in touch with your buddies.

Comes up as cloudy in investigations.

5) Rain (Doctor) = Untrod Tripod
You are the Doctor. Pro-town.

Story: Rain on the bad guys' parade and save the other weather conditions. Not very creative, oh well . . .

6) Snow (Cop) = Foolster
You can investigate each night.

Story: Though you may be cold, you know you're doing the right thing by stopping those no good weather conditions.

Sane.

7) Hail (Vigilante) = Puzzle
You are a Vigilante with two kills.

Story: You hit them hard and it hurts. However, you can only hang around for a little bit due to low ammo. Hit ‘em fast and hit ‘em good. Your goal is to kill the Godfather.

As long as Strykker dies before him, he wins no matter what, even if he dies..

8 ) Foggy (Disruptor) = Bamboomancer
For one night only, you can make all choices not go into effect.

Story: Always being made fun of for being such a lame weather effect, you've finally decided to show your worth. You will do anything in your power to impress the other weather conditions, but this means you have to help them so there will be an audience to applaud you. Therefore, you are Pro-town.

9) Mist (Self Protector) = EnderX
You can self protect at night two times.

Story: Always the coward, you can make a smoke screen with yourself to get away. Hey, who says being the hero is a good thing, at least you won't get killed as easily.


10) Drizzle (Serial Killer) = Dragon Phoenix I
You are a Serial Killer who can kill every odd night.

Story: They called you small in the past, but you're gonna hit them big. You wanna kill every weather condition and show them who's boss. However, you are small and weak, so it won't be that easy.

11) Raindrop (Mason) = Baby Jesus
You can speak with your twin Snowflake (HezLucky) and your friend Cloudy (SaveTheDragons). Pro-town.

STD not really mason.

Story: You and Snowflake are good, loyal citizens in the world of weather and wish to stop the "not so nice" weather conditions from disrupting the balance of power that is created by the seasons.

12) Snowflake (Mason) = HezLucky

Before I give out Awards, I want to thank everyone for playing, I hope you enjoyed the game. sorry that the Mafia was a little too powerful, unlike my last game where the Town was too powerful. Also, I hope you enjoyed your roles, I try not to put any Mint Chocolate Chip townies in my games, the Neutral was also a little experiment.

= Stayin' Alive Award = I must admit, I can't believe you lived to the end.

= Batman Gone Bad Award = You killed townies, but other than that, you played well.

= Good Citezen Award = You played well and were courtious. You never brought too much attention to yourself.
