Why do people confirm if they're not going to send in their choice? Aargh!

I agree. There's no excuse to not have a choice in by now.

*is glad modargo didn't notice the other person who hasn't posted yet*

My thoughts: The only person I can think of who would use a chair to kill is Peeves. As for Lockheart, I think it could've been the Death Eaters. Unless I'm mistaken, the Avada Kedavra curse doesn't leave a mark (except, of course on Harry). As for the jelly legs spell, it was probably either Lockheart or a student.
MOD: Was Lockheart aware of the full function of his role? Also, did he choose where to wander?

I doubt that Peeves would mind if he killed someone; I seem to remember a time in the fifth book where Peeves dropped potentially deadly things on students' heads. Plus, he's semi-dead already, so he probably wouldn't mind some company.

As for Lockheart casting the jelly-legs spell, I think it's entirely possible (and hope it's true). But I agree with DS that we won't know until tomorrow unless we happen to run into a claim that proves that theory wrong.

Umm, 7 to lynch
Did you just make that up? IIRC, there are only 9 people left in the game...

BTW, why
are
you people voting for modargo? I think it's highly suspicious that he was suddenly in danger of being lynched without any reasoning whatsoever.

Sorry for not posting; didn't have much time or anything overly important to say. Anyway,
vote: Kerplunk
. You shouldn't have to "prepare" a claim, and the Ginny thing makes no sense. I believe Neville wanted to become a healer, but Ginny never said anything about it at all. Die scum die!

Sorry for my silence, I've kind of been away from mafiascum for the past few days.

Anyway, I would like to post more here, but the mod never pm'ed me certain information I was supposed to get last night. This information has the potential to drastically change my suspicion, the progress of the game, etc. I'll get back to you as soon as I have that.

Sorry, I'm not presenting "gamebreaking" info. I did, however, indirectly receive Electra's night one investigation and result (it was innocent).

More posts to come soon, sorry about being so quiet.

Wait! After further thought, this info could help win the game. If we have two killers left, I know who they are. If we only have one left, and Thoth turned either DS or modargo last night, we also win. Did you choose either of them last night, Thoth?

I am Harry. Phoebus was found innocent by Electra. That means DS is scum.
vote: DS
.

Anyway, here's my role: At the beginning of the game, I had the Sorcerer's Stone, which would protect its bearer. Night 1, I chose who to give the stone to--Electra. On each of the following nights, whoever had the stone chose who to give it to next, and I'd find out who that person was. Electra gave it to Phoebus. I know Electra is an intelligent player, so I think we can safely assume she gave the Stone to the one person she knew was innocent. Since she gave it to Phoebus, we now know that he's innocent.

Unless modargo's lying, that leaves only DS. Plus, he seemed pretty eager to point out easy-lynch points such as my silence, and some other stuff he said hasn't made much sense.

I agree that UT was dumb to make up the result, but I trust his claim more than DS'. Someone's a relatively new mod, and based on some of the things he's done (deadlines, for example), I doubt he'd think of the confirmable role idea. Plus, voting for Phoebus is just dumb--I confirmed him innocent.
